So did he really have all that damage that prevented him from making the bash? Or was that a cover-up of the car being back in the paint booth?
^^he had some nice paint damage and his fender was dented a good size.
yeah i didnt get any pics of the car today. ended up not winning anything and it kinda bummed me out and it was cloudy out but im driving the car to work tomorrow and im going to get some good photos (i hope) of it and post them up tomorrow night.

sorry didnt make it to hooters guys but i had my mom and sister at the house watching nolan and they had to drive back home to cincy that night so i didnt want to stay out all night.
joe. it really was damaged pretty good. the fender had two football sized dent/creases in it and the front bumper was complely spyderwebbed and scraped up. i had just used insurance to have my hhr fixed from some kids vandalizing it and didnt want to put another claim on my insurance so i paid for the repair out of poket. i had planned on just repairing it like it is. so with that, then trying to get a hotel room and food and gas and putting the dog in the kennel it was just to much work. not to mentioned i needed to get the car in the shop by that monday so i could have it back before this show i just had to bail on the bash.

i hate whining when i dont win but i feel i got screwed on this one, the two people who i THINK got first and second had more done then me. but the entire cars were riddled with flaws. the only two car i could think being in the wild class were the white cavy with the gullwing doors, and that blue and yellow cavy with the molded kits and after looking at them i really wasnt worried at all that they would place higher, i never saw any other cars that would have been in my class except for derrik and he took third. the only thing i can think of is that they got judged friday and i got judged saturday possibly by diffrent judges. and that maybe they got an inexperienced judge and i got someone that was being a hardass at giving out points. @!#$ happens, i just hate not being able to win at this show for some reason. only real possible bright spot is when i was out walking around tara said the nhra camera crew stopped by the car and filmed it so im hoping i maybe make it on espn2 for a second or two when they air the race. think its supposed to air in october sometime.

I finaly got to see the extreme tuner kit on an 03-05 Cavy......I fell in love the instant I seen it!
It was also great to meet a bunch of you guys finally.....I was with the Tru Motorsports crew all weekend....(Jorge's Rx7 is seen in the first pic)

That is George's car from TRU motorsports. my installers did the whole audio system awhile back at the Circuit city in Lafayette. I haven't talked to him in forever. I hope he worked all the bugs out with the turbo. he needed alot of work, but it looks good in the pictures.
Yeah me & Jorge from Tru hang out alot lately....he just moved into his new house with his new wife Lisa.....& installed a lift in his mega garage...sooo.....he's my best friend now!
That Rx7 is just one of many cars he has.....he didn't even get it judged because he said it's won too many awards already...ha!
