Here is my car. its in the shop now getting a new kit to be revealed later but should i do black or orange handles, the body shop said its my choice.
I have a CF hood and CF trunk panel so what you think?
Outside of the mirrors are going to be painted too so let me know...
I would keep them orange unless your getting the c/f handles.
Getting "better built" for the '08...
Definately paint them body color.

I plan to stop by the shop again tomorrow and get some pictures of the car. I dropped it off last night and they started on it this morning and they had the whole kit off. all the window trim off. the whole passenger side sanded down, and half way filled. looked amazing. they are fixing every single solitary dent ding knick, chip everything, even stuff taht wasnt figured into my estimate. They are even finding stuff i didnt see.
i cant wait.

. Body color has my vote. Going to drill out the rivets and paint them the right way or just do them on the car?
The shop actually ordered new ones because they say that they always break when they go to put them on. so they will be painted black while they are off the car. KIDDING< im going orange.
But i have an oem replacement, non oem so that means its the stock rear but without chevrolet in there. but new handles are already in.

real c/f handles? wow...more trouble then its really worth IMO. I vote orange all the way! black...no c/f maybe if you REALLY want to be different. but sometimes to be different, is to be a pain in the ass and causes a loss of interest in the car
do a two tone. black on top. orange on bottom....if u do this keep the handles/mirrors black.

Its staying a single color just some some of the CF hood is getting painted. leaving most of the center of the invader hood showing CF. The handles are going orange and so is the outer of the mirrors. ill update when i get home if my internet is fixed.

You guys won't believe what I was told today! A guy at a body shop ( don't know if you got any Fix Auto in the US but ..) told me that the exterior of the mirrors and door handles can't be painted because the paint won't stick ! WTF

Well it won't if they're too stupid to know how to prep it, which sounds likely.
I second getting cf handles/covers, but orange for now
