I miss my 4-door.
CC: I suggest on the 4-door LS Sport lower ground effects or 95-99 SE 4-door. I dunno the 00-02 g-e kinda looks out of place.
Have you looked at the Canadian ext rear trim piece?
Looks very good.
Oh yhea did you hear or feel any difference with the removal of the intake resonator?

As far as the side skirts go, I'll eventually be getting the '95-'02 Z24 ones. I like the looks of them because they remind me of the GT side skirts.

Yes, I have seen pictures of the Canadian Sedan trunk panel and taillights and I honestly don't really like the look of it. I am going to be getting everything that's black on the rear end painted silver so it will basically look like a Cavalier from the back.

As far as removing the intake resonator, the car did seem to feel a tad bit quicker and a tad bit louder, no major differences though.

Thanks for the kind words on the car .

Actually, after looking back at this picture of an '04 Sunfire Sedan, I do actually like the look of the trunk panel. How would I go about getting one though since they were only available in Canada? Any chance you have the part number for it? Also, I can't really tell in this picture, but are the outer taillights different from the '95-'02 Sedans or no?

Email GMparts direct and ask for the 2003 Sunfire sedan rear panel. They should give ya the part # even though it was for the Canadian market. I got my CDM gauges from them.
Also on the outer tails, I do believe they're the same. I can tell ya better when the snow birds come down here in the winter lol.

Actually, I changed my mind again . After looking at the three options ('03-'05 panel, color match current panel, Cav tails), I think I'm going to use the stock tails from a '00-'02 Cavalier. That will be the easiest and I think it will look better without the bulky trunk panel on there.

I want Canadian gauges! Any modification necessary to get them to work? Part number?

i agree with your choice on the 00-02 cavi tails. that will make the rear end of your car look awsome

Yeah. I was looking at silver Cavs on eBay and I think it will look much cleaner with the Cav tails because they will be flush with the trunk and rear quarter panel, whereas the Sunfire tails/trunk panel stick up above the trunk and rear quarter panel. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait 'til spring to see the results since I'm going to have all the body work/painting done at once .

looks great. few suggestions

eco swap
spoilerless
cav tails(without the cf bezel)

was going to suggest 95-02 cav z sides but u already got that covered.. never seemed to like those sunfire sides..

i understand u prolly dont wanna remove wing or have no bezel though cuz then u gotta get holes welded up and repainted..

looks good though. i like the coupe sunfire rear ends better though

Thanks!

I would love to do an ECO swap, but I don't have the know how to tackle something like that. Too bad there's no Org. people nearby who could help me .

In the spring I will be getting all the paint/body work done. I will be getting a spoiler-less Cavalier trunk lid and I will be using '00-'02 stock Cavalier taillights.

We'll see how much you like the Coupe rear ends when my Sedan rear end is finished !

Hey there Nick! How's Cali treating you? Thanks a lot ! Yeah, I got a 2200, but I don't really care too much about the horsepower so it's okay. Looks > horsepower !

So, have you done anything to the Cav lately?

What a coincidence! I have a spoiler-less 2k trunk lid with 2k inners..silver no doubt! but some dumb ass already claimed it for his car.. has a 03 LS sport or something.. no.. wait. its me

along with a carbon fiber one lmao, yes it is sad that all those parts are in my room, worst part is it isn't all of the parts in my room.. maybe 60% lol

can't wait to see what you come up with next spring, I already love your rear.. the car's I'll have to wait and see on....umm..

jk lol

Btw how you liking those tires still? I got em on my 18s(the 4 stacked up the trunks are sitting on lol) and I love the tread pattern, the weekend I had em on I loved em, the wet traction was great and they handled wonderfully. and were a quieter tire then they look.

I lucked out and got it for $25 because the air bag was blown. I'll keep an eye out for another one .

Damn you! I'll have to keep my eye out for a spoiler-less trunk lid and tails because now every time I see a Cavalier on the road, I am wanting to do that swap so badly. It looks so much cleaner without that bezel on there.

That was a good one you perv !

Yeah, I am still very happy with the ASTs. They seem a little louder on the Sedan, but I am chalking that one up to not having rear wheel well liners, so we'll see when I get some put in here soon. They definitely handle great in the rain. Not too bad in the snow either as I found out last winter .

Thanks! Yes, I went from an ECO to a 2200. Why? Because I'm crazy of course ! No, in all seriousness, I am more about looks than horsepower. Besides it's almost impossible to find an '02 Sunfire Sedan with an ECO . Who knows, someday down the road I may end up swapping one in if I can find someone to do it because I wouldn't even know where to begin .

Car is looking hot! Love every bit of it, but you already knew that! Evil eye up that hood, work on the back, get some Z sides and your set! Can't wait to see it with the mirrors and door handles painted. Looking awsome! Can't wait to see it come spring.

Thanks Steve! I got a quote from my body shop yesterday to have all the body work done at once. The plan is to use my income tax money in the spring and have everything done at once, so yes, the car will definitely be looking a lot different come springtime. I can't wait !
