Beautiful buy. I would love to get a low mile J for my wife, but we'll have to see what kind of deals they offer around here.

i got a smokin deal on this one. the miles arent as low as i would have hoped (100,000) but it has been very well maintained, and has a few extras to go along with it i.e remote start, alarm, decent stereo...etc. interior is pretty nice, plus new brakes, shocks, struts, tires, air filter, plugs, wires...plus i still have that body kit i was trying to sell a couple of months ago so the potential is there. too bad its getting cold and I don't have a heated garage. going to have to wait until spring to really bring her to life. Long Live Sinner version 2.2l!!!

There's a 1999 Z24 vert in victory red for $3900 about 5 miles from my house, it doesn't even have 87k on it, automatic, CD player etc. But, I did a walk around on it and the bumpers have dents all over the place. All of the metal is good though near as I can tell. The major downfall I could see was that I could slide my finger between the glass and gasketing on the doors without touching either of them! Not even sure where I'd start on that repair, nor how much rust it's already created inside. Any suggestions guys?

I really love the fires too, been looking at a purple one locally but they want WAY too much [around $7k and it has over 130k on it.]

if i'm not mistaken, you can just order the window gasket kit from just about any auto parts store. I got one for a friends toyota camry a while back at auto zone. of course for the rust you would have to take the door apart. if there was any rust in there it could be a bit of a pain in the a$$ to fix. I wouldn't want to do it. but for some reason, i suck at putting doors back together right...lol

That's the thing that got me was that the gaskets on the doors looked good and seemed soft. I was beginning to wonder if one of the "dents" on the car was a major thump and caused some tweaking in the chassis?

Oh well, just spotted and checked out a 1998 Z24 Vert in gold with tan interior and a tan top. Another nice looking car but it looked as if the 130K+ miles on it had been driven behind gravel trucks. Paint chips everywhere! And then, you guys will love this, touched up with copper nail polish! Not even a close match, pretty sad, but I guess I can't fault them for at least trying. Miss matched is always better than rust!

If you don't mind my asking though, Sinner, what'd you pay for your new Fire?

I paid $2200, and i bought the guy a six pack of beer for being very patient when i had a delay getting the check...lol

Ok, here are some really $hitty pics for ya all!

it has some minor issues that need to be addressed, the passenger side rear strut bushing needs to be replaced, and the bumpers need paint really badly. over all though, it is a good little car, and a good platform to start from. Damn i am excited to get going on this thing!!!
