Inspired by transformers i think some of you guys would jump on this .....

i would have to make a carving of the logo then mould it for him to make a stamp mould out of it ........

If you think its going to make you money and that people will jump on this go right ahead. I don't see the point in asking for everyones advice if you already think its a good idea.

But just be made aware you could potentially face copyright infringement.

about the infringment issue .....
dont you think its been thought of on the original post ??

dont get me wrong ... i hear ya ...
but if it was that much of an issue i dont think the people who originally made the replica int he other post would be selling it on e bay ...
that to me is alot more riskyier then on here don t u think ?

I guess you do have a point there. But how many people are willing to purchase something like and what is the cost like to make them?

Not saying its a bad idea, I like it but it's just not my taste (probably cause I am not a huge fan of Transformers even though I enjoyed the movie).
Then again to each there own. Good luck with it though, good turn out nice!

Well ... as i stated b 4 .. My sisters Husbands family Owns a machine shop(the other brother of the fam is in his 20's like me)
and he is willing to stamp and lazer cut me a sheet ..... for next to nothing .... its more time that is his issue if anything .....
cost would be the cost of the metal divided by now may i can fit on one sheet .... im thinkin 20 each ..... just off the top of my head tho .....so dont quote me .....
i simply wanted some thoughts on this to see if people would actually be interested in them .... if i get enough feed back when i make the mould .... then i will go the next set
i personlly dont even want thses .......but if i have the time and materials @ hand to do these for some of the guys here ? why not ??
i may make a dollar or 2 off each one .... but its not for the money its to make something that no one has for a select few for the even more custom look ..

And to R3D05LsSport
... I HEAR YA MAN ..... its -12 here without the windchill ....... thats in toronto lol ...

not sure if you can see it but that is the GM badge that comes on the trucks, the ones that come on the cars are smaller. I know with all the detail you may have to make it a wee bit bigger.

If you could get a couple of mock pieces so I could see what it would look like on the car, I'd be interested.
