Agreed.

He's probably trying to win their photo contest. Everybody tries to be artistic, since anybody can just take pictures of the whole cars. It takes real skill to find the beauty in random macro shots.

Nice cars for sure

I went on a saturday, there was nothing but a @!#$load of people. It sucked, i was never able to take full shots of the nicer cars. Next year I will be entering the photo contest so I will be able to photograph without any crowds.

Very nice shots. If you don't mind me asking, what camera/lens combo are you using? Did you use a flash? I have always found the lighting in car shows to be bad at best.
