Some progress for 2008

New head HO cams gonna run a PS steering set up off a 2.3l this year. ( No PS sucks)



My cat approves



Pulled the motor again for like the 6th time.





ugly dirty pistons lol






more to come soon. Ps set up will be ready to go this weekend.

Nice. i can't imagine pulling it that many times i pulled my ld9 once and i will never do it again. it's a heavy little pig when your by yourself.

Seriously. Congratulations.

I ran out of patience last spring. lol.

And good on ya putting the PS back on. Mine has been without PS fluid since last July and I hate even backing it out of the garage!

Good luck with the build.

PS - go back to the bronze paint. It was pimp.

Can you get a clear picture of the top of a piston... i want to see how the tune is doing as far as spark advance.

Damn you! You are copying me! I've got a set of brand new HO cams as well But I think I've got you beat on how many times you pulled your motor out. I think I'm up to 7...possibly 8. I seem to have lost count at this point. Anyway, looking good!

Think Iam going with gloss black on the cam towers and a polished timing cover along with a gloss black and polished idi cover.

The intake cam doesn't come with the pulley on it. Seperate peices. Looks good Paul. Yes, no power steering is a sonofabitch!!

It will be a battell royel.

I might make it to the bash this year mmmhum?

I just picked up my 2.3l PS pump and brackets I had a 2.3l cam iam just going to press the pulley off and press it onto this cam.

Yes they are brand new HO cams 410 lift 212 dur.

Ill post more pics later today I may try and mock up the 2.3l PS pump and get some painting done. Possibly press the pulley on.
