picked up some new parts so I thought i'd make a quick post on what's going on with my sedan.
recently picked up the following...
4-1 Pacesetter Ceramic Coated header (thanks alias)
2.5" Borla XR-1 muffler
4" SS Magnaflow tip
2.5" Catco Hi-flow cat
HP Tuners
Vert trunk arms (not sure if I can get them to bolt up but if I can, i'm hoping it will help with my cf trunk fitment)
new shift boot (stock one ripped)
cadillac front strut brace (following in misnblu's foot steps and making a trunk brace)
still need to purchase:
turbo tech k brace
misc. interior pieces
that's all for now!
i'm glad someone can get some use out of that header, $35 wasn't a bad price either lol. It was nice meeting you. i'm looking forward to seeing your new mods in action.
You should really like the sound of that set up...make sure you post up a sound clip once it's all installed!
Car is looking good as always....one of my favorite sedans right there!!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
oh believe me, i'll post a sound clip. I can't wait to hear how this is going to sound.
i may have two soundclips to post though as my current setup will make it over to my gf's 96 vert.
Ive wanted to try that vert trunk arm idea. Leaves more room in the trunk opposed to those dumb big bars that get in the way.
Let us know how that works out!

Sigh, maybe i shouldn't have bought the supercharger yet. Ah ha ha. I need that 2,600 for the rest of my parts for the parts i'm still missing ( things not up to par for my standards).
I still need the tranny mounts, upper eco mount, fuel tank, exhaust manifold, SPAL fan, 3+ Clutch.... ( thats not even it all) Let alone sand blast the engine bay and re-paint it and blast the under carriage as well.)
... Owwwwy.
should sound good man!
dtp is settin up another bash, you'd better be there!
.
The sedans will rule the JBO.
where did u get the cat from? what you get that one over a magnaflow?
i picked up the cat from summit racing. went with catco because i've heard good things about them and it was cheaper than a magnaflow
t2... gonna try to make it this year
where and how much did that muffler cost? I'm trying to get a muffler and a cat for my new exhaust as i still have stock

well i don't have any pics of my proxs before it was installed but this muffler is straight through... supposedly the highest flowing borla makes. i'll get a pic of the inlet....

ive got that same muffler on my car. have had mine about 5or 6 years now. thing still sounds the same as when i first got it. believe it or not i only payed $35 for it. it sounds great on the 2.4 but on the eco sounds a little raspy i might be adding a resonator in there.
Alright! I like it...one of my favorite sedans on de org
