the only real snags we ran into were

a) the shifter cable mounting bracket was differnt from the 2.4 getrag to the ecotec getrag
b) I had to use the Ecotec throttle cable as the 2.4 one was different.

but i had a swap car. so overall it was a great swap and took a total of about 13 hours

For the cables we the that mount off of the cables and took it to the drill press and drilled a hole so we could fit a bolt through it to the bolt hole on the tranny. seems to work great but i may just go to GM and order the proper one anyways.
