first the bad news.
i wake up and im headin out the door to get to work. its 6:50 am -20° outside, brrr f-in cold.
head away from my house and get 2 blocks to the stop sign. i take off and @%#$ huh?!?!! so i coast to the sholder with the old hazards on and end up runnin home cuz my car does nothing in all gears
i take my sweet time cuz i know i wont be making it into work on time
post on here, bs, eat some breakfast, then call my boss. finally i go push my car off the street so it wont be towed.... few days later i tear her apart and come to find old clink and clatter axle down there, thats the culprit!!

cuz i did a 5 speed swap and luckily this is the one i bought
new wheel
as u can see i need a new middle piece cuz there is a rub spot on the lower left
and pending install, i had enough car work for the day, plx dm-100 and sm-afr kit
Man... I'm going to be doing that exact thing on my roomate's car tomorrow... hoping the Iowa weather cooperates haha. Driver side broken axle FTFL!
I love the steering wheel too, that's my favorite J steering wheel ever by far. I rock one in my Beretta too.
That exact year and style is hard to find.
i no, i found the other style one with the rectangle and it was chewed up on top and my buddy was like how bout this one and i was like HELL YA MAN!!! so cant beat $3 dollars
Still say you need this one. Color looks like it matches good to me. Ah well, I'm just trying to help, lol.

eh, it looks better than driving around with the stock cavalier wheel with no air bag in it, but anyone that knows my car knows i really truly dont care about how it looks, i like the wheel tho its pretty nice

i didnt have it layin around it was warranted so it was free
and it only took a few mins to swap out, its an easy job and i got the oil changed at the same time, the car drives like a million bucks now with new oil and new trans fluid
The wheel looks better in person for sure, a heck of a lot better than a big ole ugly air bag right in the middle of the steering wheel. In person it has a lot more depth, plus the feel is betta too. Hella nice buy for $3.

ya when i actually get it installed ill throw up a bunch, its a dm-100 so i can make guages, its OLED. i can switch it between different screens and there is a remote too

I don't blame you for the steering wheel swap in the Beretta. We got gypped for sure there. I'm swapping out for a different one once I get the chance (my Chevy school bus wheel is falling apart anyways). Either the one off the '91 cav I'm buying, or getting a Grant something. Probably trading up for the cav one, then eventually to a grant one anyways. I can't make up my mind on anything.
