Well was deciding to sell but cant seem to let her go. I have just upgraded to a Z kit to for a new look, much thanks to jon2000z24 for hooking me up. I plan on getting it lowered soon on some rk sports springs and possibly down the road on some dpecs or agx struts. I know its nothing much just yet but getting progress done one paycheck at a time. Just let me know what you guys think.

Don't lower it unless you can afford new struts at the same time..

Looks good with the Z bumpers.

Not saying its a good idea, but mine has been on eibach sportline springs and stock struts for over a year now and it seems to be just fine. But i finally got some d-specs for mine this year =)

i cant beleive the difference the Z kit makes, looks great. Lowered with some 18s, you'll be on your way haha

You can put springs on stuck struts, they hold up just fine...

Seriously, everyone that is suggesting he buy aftermarket springs and run on stock struts.. just stop misinforming the guy. Stock struts aren't meant to handle the higher spring rates of the drop springs. Now, I personally have the Eibach Pro-Kit w/ Monroe Sensatracs, which is an OEM replacement, and I haven't encountered any problems, YET. But I wouldn't suggest anyone else do the same.. just because mine are fine and haven't blown yet, doesn't mean they won't. Every car is different, every road is different.. just do it right the first time to avoid the risk. If you get aftermarket springs, get aftermarket struts that are meant to handle the drop, bottom line.

I completely agree. I said 'not that its a good idea' lol...

if money is tight and you really want your car lowered, i was just giving the comfort that its fine for awhile to stick with stock struts. but if you can pull it off, definitely do it right and dont mess around. and road conditions play a role as well, if things are a little bumpy your way, it gets riskier. anyways, i just wanted to clea that up. dont want to misinform

So i went to 2 Crazy rays junk yards today down in Baltimore trying to look for a 00-02 z spoiler but had no luck at all, but i went ahead and purchased some rk sport springs on some stock struts. Im thinking it will be ok to run that set up for a month or so till i can get some better struts. Besides the roads around my way are fairly smooth so i shouldn't have to worry to much.

p.s Not really sure why the pics wont show up for you, is anyone else having problems seeing the pics?
