Spotted: Boosted Eco Swapped Sunfire

Well I took a trip to look for apartments near the school I'm planning to go to in the fall and I happened to notice a car I usually see at shows through out the summers, It's got a Turbo Ecotec running 8psi on stock internals, but is about to have the engine built in the next week or 2 according to the shop owner, couldnt get any under hood pics because the owner is away in Alberta working.. but here it is anyways

And some pics of the shop owners 500+AWHP Eclipse for good measure... also no under hood pics cuz he had some new stuff that was top secret so he didnt want it shown until it was finnished

Doesn't look too bad, although he could have picked some better wheels. Handles and mirrors would have looked better color matched.

the wheels/tires/color kill it for me...rubber band tires FTL

decent car though I suppose if he likes the color, i just hate orange on most any car

Not a bad car. I don't even mind the color.

The wheels, however, are horrible, and don't fit the rest of the car at all.

The black mirrors don't bother me, but the ventvisors and solar wing gotta go.

Top secrect? Sounds like to me. There is nothing that is secrect anymore as it relates to DSM's, it's pretty much all been done before.

he probably meant secret around here, or within his circle of friends. you are right though, it's pretty much all been done

and yeah it could very well have been there as the owner is out there working.. he must have brought it back to get the built motor and bigger turbo installed or something

wheels work well with the car...i just would have put a little bit bigger tire on them thats all. i have loved the car since the first time i seen it...I think it was in PEI for sport compact weekend a few summers ago...what did the car run in the 1/4 mile anyway?

I love the Sunfire! Clean tires and some Tire shine and they would be looking GREAT! Esp in the sun.

meh, the sunfire has a mediocre engine bay at best and the exterior looks like its going to turn into Optimus Prime at any time.

painted mirrors and handles are way overrated. The mirrors always look better in black.

The sunfire needs the doors shaved. I doesn't look right with a a molded kit and bumpers but still with locks and handles. Its nice looking though

Well, I just about agree with Mr/ Stars post here, yet again. Especialy about the mirrors. And I was going to come in and say the little things I like and little things I don't like. And even compliment him on the swap and boost and very clean body work despite a kit that I'm not a big fan of. BUT, that cocky "see you in my mirrors" and whiny reply to people giving THEIR OPINIONS ruined that for me. Grow up, get the stick out of your ass, and accept that your car is YOURS and not everyone will love everything about it. And you will not be seeing me in your mirrors ever.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.
