soooo.. what gauges are you getting to fill all those holes?
SOLD....
wow apparently your cav is a jet in disguise... in all honesty though WHAT do each of those gauges do, and in tuning, monitoring, and driving, why are they needed in your cavalier.... seriously.... i want to know... i race.... a car that is decently fast..... with lots of work done to it..... with nitrous... and lots of horsepower.... and i honestly dont have or need that many gauges to keep an eye on the important things.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

What 2.2 OHV Auto doesnt need 7 gauges?
That thing must flyyyyy
Like i said I made them for when i drop in my new motor and turbo set up (2.4 5spd.) in the near future. The 3 tinted gauges i had from before and will be sold soon. I'll be installing a Autometer Cobalt series wideband, Oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost/vac, volt, and a Pyrometer/EGT gauge. And its a sunfire.
make me one for my vent on top, shoot me a price NOW. Thanks.
whats up ryan been a while! i like the project, especially the one on the door! got any pics of your whole car?
wow. definately owned me on the cav-sunfire thing... and i even recognized the shape of the dash as being a fire..
i lose this time.

i like the door pod i thought about putting my there but i ended up gitting a single pod and sticking it on the dash behind the tripple.
Your Door one looks almost the same as the ones I have made in the past...
door pod looks decent, but how you supposed to adjust your mirror? well i guess you could tweak it manually but why delete a factory option for a gauge that could have easily been put elsewhere? you could also have made the pod so the adjuster lever was left intact.
Just an idea but you could move the door mount on and put it here. Then whatever gauge you decide is most important to monitor could be kept in plain sight.
Joe Shultes made this one.

Well for me, I adjust the mirrors once in a blue moon. So cutting off the lever was no big deal. Power if you have power mirrors (or in my case toyota mirrors) just mount the control some place else.
The Door Pod is just as easy to see as the one people have done on the column.
For me when I had the door pod and Manual Mirrors, opening the window and adjusting the mirror one or two times a year compared to blocking off part of the cluster at the time, made my mind up.
It just comes down to which one YOU like better, not which one IS better.

wow that looks factory!...great work joe!
i like the ideas you have man...but i dont see what all gauges your going to put in there...since you already have a triple pod.
One of the best things I made above
.
i have a set of aftermarket mirrors here watingin to be up on when it warms up so the adjuster is worthless anyways. and it was broke off before when someone hit my mirror it popped outta place and fell out. i posted a list of gauges up there that i will be goin with.
o and if people want me to make them any i can lol
