The main reason for the hood is to keep the engine and turbo much cooler. Im not going for show by any means. This is basically gonna be a track only car.

Well with all that extra space, it should do a pretty good job...
So the back of the hood is open? If not you should put your gauges in there
Yeah the back of the hood is all open. I will be painting it next friday/saterday. I will post up some pics when its done

Hater...j/k. Why the hate joe. You really should see it in person, it gives the cav a different look to it.

No more opinions on the hood? Anyways cant wait to get it painted and see how it looks this weekend.

I think the hood would actually look really good if the sides had a smooth curve to them. You know more of a rounded edge at the top. IMO the rims are fugly. Bu they they are llightweight track rims so function over form.

Is the cowl based off of the mustang hood??? I recently just picked up a similar fiberglass mustang cowl for my grand am hood. Looks good man!
I like the idea, but I don't like how angular the edges of the cowl seem.
Not feelin the hood at all, but I love the turbo stuff and rims

x2
I am interested in seeing how it looks painted, with the wheels on.
