so if anybody has ever noticed, i never post pics of my engine. reason being is because i only have a intake,and red top. plus its a 2.2 ohv
but i came into one hell of a deal and couldnt pass it up. so big thanks to spyder for making discovery for me. this guy who i bought it from,goes to dealerships picking up parts and what not. hes always getting engines off of warrenty. he had this one and told me he only wanted $60 bucks for it!!!! i jumped on it and had him come drop it off at my job until i can take it to my buddies house .(section8cav)im not in a big hurry to get this in so its gonna be a slow process getting this build. eventually its gonna be built up and supercharged . this is not a progress thread i just thought id share the good news with all of my fellow jboers!! thanks for lookin

yea were gonna rebuild the whole thing. so we will def check every single thing out. the guy actually had 2 and was gonna sell them for 120 but the other had a whole in the block and he wound up scrapping that one to the junkers. but yea for 60 bucks i cant argue. thanks for lookin fellas!!

yea this guy comes buy the dealership once a month and always has these things on the back, I was glad I caught him and now every time before he comes buy he is going to get ahold of me to see if anyone is looking for one. And yes 60 bucks is all he wants for the ECOs and yes some have every thing and some have what you see in Ricks pics. I will start getting these things for people if they want one I will get a post going the next time he stops buy .

Oh if you don't know already then you're really going to hate me. The ecotec swap on a pre-00 J is quite a long swap, basically you strip your car down to a frame and swap everything 00+ over. It's a huge project, I've got plenty of pics of mine if you want to see.

good find... just go threw with it sounds like alot of work
