I'm definitely interested to see how this turns out! Get to it!
also interested even though i dont have a vert.... gl
I got this from a friend who works for a GM test center, he gave it to me so I figured I'd try to see if this fits. Just a little more cutting and It's done. I was thinking either I would paint it to match the car or I will cover it with vinyl.
paint to match!!!! vinyl would be alright, but paint to match would be a one off job. plussssss it looks like you have cayenne red. cant have to much cayenne on a cavy.
finish this and you will be my hero
finish this and post a how to and i will bear your children
this is going to be a killer job man!
finish this and you death shall be quick and painless! GET TO IT!

you should paint it and mold it to the body.

Actually the gas filler is from a boat, if you go to any boat us you can buy a gas filler that is very clean looking and chrome.
Here are the pics of my progress, I cut the back to fit along the backseat. I have to put a brace in the middle to keep the edges clean along the sides. And then it should fit better all the way around. tell me what you think.
its lookin great. the only thing i see that i dont like is how far to the front it sits. for me, i would put it no further than the doors, since i like to have my seat cocked back a bit while driving.
but i still think this is an amazing idea man! keep it up!
Yea i think i'm going to have to move it back a bit. I'm waiting till I finish my seats so that I can fit everything in better. I'm not even sure the seats will lock back with the top cover this far forward.
I think it will look really good if you can get it to fit correctly.

LoL that is a soltice actual trunk. POS trunk that this car actually has is the only drawback. Creative idea though man! Good luck. Should be sweet as hell looking!
any updates on this beautiful thing?
you should make the factory cover and this one all one piece covered with vynal.
