Welcome Zak, you have a pretty good attitude thus far for only being 17. Stick around here and enjoy the car, it looks REALLY clean despite being stock. Always nice having a good platform to start with.
Anyhow, once again welcome, keep the mellow attitude...I like it.
nice car... the interior actually doesnt bother me... im usually not a huge fan of the painted interiors but that one doesnt shout rice...
and whats with the yota floor mats?
I like the direction you're going. Great choice on color.

azncav: Thanks man, I do plan on going with red underneath the steering wheel. The reason that piece hasn't been done yet was I could only take off so much during spring break and work on it while still driving it lol. I plan on setting aside one weekend to take that piece off (it goes all the way to the passenger side, and it connected to the inside of the glovebox) and painting it red. As for the door panels, I am maybe planning on painting the plastic piece around the speakers and window crank red, the small plastic piece by the door handle red, and MAYBE swapping the black fabric to red up by the window. Also, I used Kit's Scratch Out and Kit's Carnauba Car Wax, and man, this baby shined
Eyeopnr: I was afraid it would look a little ricey while I was painting it, but when I placed it in, I was impressed (I had backup non-sanded pieces just incase haha). Lol @ the floormats, I plan on getting new ones soon, I'm just going to use those for winter as of now. I bought the car at a Used Toyota dealership lol.
CAS: Thanks bro, I love the red of these cars
i personaly wouldnt paint the crank red though.. it will most likely just fade out from everyday use. just an oppinion though.

Woops, sorry for the misunderstanding lol. What I mean to say was I am going to paint the large plastic piece around the felty-fabric surrounding the crank red
I agree with you there, painting the handles will eventually fade due to daily use.
Nice start buddy!! I like where your heading. Your interior is starting to look awesome....Maybe just continue painting the driver ide part. But don't paint too much inside!
Good start!
another WI J-body, welcome.
It's just me, but I would stick with just painting the lower dash..... you get to much, and it starts looking 'over done' (to put it nicely). I do think what you have done, looks good (back in the day, I painted a lot of my interior trim pieces red.......
dont ask.)

I still don't know about painting the vents. I will
NOT be painting the spheres, I would only be painting the plastic circles around them red. All depends on what I feel like doing. Otherwise other than that, only under the steering wheel will be painted red, and that is all for the dash. The doors are a whole other story, which I wont start till May/June.
lol @ speedracerz, why red
Nice clean slate. Keep it that way. Welcome!

Right
here man.
Welcome and very nice car. That thing looks incredibly clean and the interior doesn't look bad at all.
As mentioned before, you should definitely come on over to WIGM-tuners.org too as long as you're around.
See ya around!

As of right now, getting the door molding, a nice sized paint chip on the trunk, and the rear bumper fixed is the first thing on my list. I will then *try* to complete the interior, and afterwords head on over to the exhaust (already looking up headers and parts I want)
