So this is officially my first progress thread. I'm updating my system with new Memphis stuff: 2-M3s, 2-PR1000 Amps, 2-15PR32 Components, Bass 2.2 Processor and a 1K Cap.
Box without subs installed
My filthy engine bay!
All opened up
Box waiting to by glassed in
My interior all ripped apart
The new (well, last years model) M3s. The logo will have a custom vinyl to cover the funny color combination.
Let me know what you all think!

That engine bay isn't that filthy really, you should see mine lol. Nice lookin car though, post more pics as it comes along!
Just polish your valve cover or have it powdercoated and your engine bay would look really good.
# 5 to have that style rk sport carbon fiber radiator cover. (thats known)
its not so rare anymore
system items look good, lets see some pics of it all done!
Rollin' on question marks since 07.
like everything except those flares and sides
do you plan on snorklin soon? i don't think the aem bypass valve will do you much good, way up in your bay. flares would be ok if they blended in w/ the bumpers and sides.

Eh, from what I was told, they only made about 20 of the smooth ones, so in my book, that's still RARE. LOL

Yeah I hate the fender flares, but don't have the money to replace the fenders (body shop drilled them into the fenders!). I don't mind my sides, but I got them from NOPI and the quality is aweful! Wrinkles/creases in the fiberglass and everything, but again don't have the money to replace. I think I might go with the TRD style sides when I DO get the money though. Any thoughts?
The bypass valve was for when I was driving it in the winter, and I put it where AEM said to...but now I can store it, so I just left it in because I cut the section out.
To have the flares blended was my original intent, but it would cost just as much as new fenders! If anybody is selling there original fenders, I would be interested. The color is still stock red, so I would just get them to match. The paint has a little bit of red metal flake, but not enough to really care!
System should be put together by Monday or Tuesday, so I'll post more pics then.

Doing something with the valve cover would make the engine bay look excellent.
I like your ideas man, keep up the progress!
Anyone know if it's possible/easy to powdercoat the alternator? I would love to color match the valve cover and alt.

very clean audio set-up, i dont know if i like all the red on the interior though, i think if the dash was black and the upper part of the door panels were black it would look a lot better IMO, but i respect what you got going on there, car looks good, now get that lowered!
Hey, what's up bud? I had the blue Z24 @ the 28th St. cruise when we talked up at Berger.
Setup in backseat came out really nice.
Hey Joe! I remember talking to you @ Berger. You coming back this year? I was hoping to get over to the east side of the state (Saginaw) this weekend, but I'm not quite ready to show yet.
As far as the color goes, I am looking into getting a CF trim kit. Thought it would make for a nice contrast.

the system looks good how does it sound
Looks good man I love it!!I was wondering is that the fiberglass set up from RKsport?
System sounds ok right now. I'm still working out the bugs (air leaks and such) and I blew a 6x9 with the new 4-channel. When I push the subs though, very nice!
It is the RKSport speaker setup, and unless you know how to glass REALLY well, I don't recommend it. It doesn't fit like RK said it would and requires 3 boxes built behind it. The side "sub" spots won't fit 12s because there is no room for a box behind them. My audio guy really did a great install, it just took a lot of time (and money).
