Photoshoot turned Mud Bog

Well it was a nice sunny day even though it was snowy so i decided to go take some pics. Now you can see all of the changes, I took off the visor, painted hood, changed tails back to stock but tinted them all red. I also did some more painting on the interior, and got a dual a-pillar gauge pod from glow shift with a volt and oil pressure guage. I also picked up some Sylvania Silverstars today and am waiting to install them. On to the pics...

This is when things started going wrong, checked the ground out before driving on it and it didn't seem wet or muddy at all so I thought it was ok, I was wrong. Completely stuck. Called the wife to come rescue me so she could drive and I could push, that didn't work. So out came the tow rope and I pulled it out with a Beetle. That was quite the sight, a beetle pulling a cav out of the mud. I did not get a pic of that though.

The inside. As you can see the floor is very muddy, I wonder where that came from?

I had a few other sites picked out but after that mud incident I didn't have the energy.

Thanks for looking!

Yeah i wasn't real happy. Then I went back to the carwash and the soap wasn't working so i just sprayed it off with water and its still filthy.

Yes I cracked my headlights open and painted them, they are also getting moisture in them now so I need to pull them out and reseal them.

Thanks!

I actually kept trying to get out after I took those pics. I finally gave up and called the wife after I got out and looked at the front and the bumper was on the ground. I did not take more pics because this was private property and I didn't want some one calling me in, so I was in a rush to get out of there.

I agree that I need LS sides, but there aren't any around here in any junkyards.

After I did the tails I fell in love with them. No it was not fun,

Thanks!

so wait, private property, your on the grass, you put a huge hole in their grass, not that it matters, but am i the only one that sees a problem with this? I know for sure i wouldnt like it if someone drove all over my @!#$ to take pictures. there has to be a million other places you could go with good scenery for pictures.

It was a land scaping business the grass was already tore up around wear I was, the spot I was in was also the only place there was grass. I was not on someones lawn. I am sure no one would care, just didn't want to get hassled.

Thanks!

i like the taillights alot, car looks good.

on the interior though, looks like the wrap on your console lid isnt too well, i would do something about that.

LOL @ all the mud!

Pics and the car looks wonderful..I really like the wheels and drop, as well as the hood and tails! Super clean, and no rice

Let me know how much of a diffrence putting silverstars has..I've been kicking around the idea, but wasn't sure how much better they would be/look/brighter than normal cheaper bulbs for our cars.

Yeah, I know the wrap job sucks. It looked pretty good when I first did it but the spray adhesive that I used let go and now it sucks.

Thanks for all the love!

I also just put the silverstars in last night and haven't driven in the dark yet.
