SO I finaly did a shoot with my own car. New model for my site so I said why not. Gave her a nice hand-wash (the car DER) and cleaned her up the best I could.
We started the shoot about a half hour later than planned so we were strained on light.

Anyways the full shoot is Available on my website www.HotModelPhotography.com along with another 28,000 of my images.

So I WAS going to be powder-coating my IDI, Brakes, and shift knob today...But lets just say SCREW FED-EX! I wont be getting started now untill Weds.

So Oh well

Yea, lol somehow the lugs backed out on btoh the front wheels a hir, they were wobbeling, kinda scarry, re tightened em and no problems since

Painted the Window Pillars and door handles tonight, horray!

Going to start wiring in the car-puter tomorrow and going to change the oil!

Just a photography suggestion:

From the looks of it, you were looking to have a low-key lighting situation. If you were trying to show off your car in these pictures, I'd say the lighting you used isn't enough. I totally understand your shots if looked at from the perspective of them being beneficial to the model. In fact, they're fantastic for her sake. However, even on my calibrated Dell 2405fpw, anything other than the highlights on the car are very faint from my point of view. Picture 23 loses my interest in your car completely because I can't see enough of it. In fact, it looks like Grace is just holding her hand out onto a big black blob.

My suggestion for the pictures you've already shot is to work at them a little in Lightroom or some other similar workflow program. Give the backlight a slight bump as well as the recovery to prevent the highlights from blowing out.

Just my suggestion. Take it however you want.

Thanks, But the main point of the images were for the model, not the car.I just used it as a supporting prop.I will be doing another shoot with the Model Supporting the focus of the car. I think thats what your leaning too
