So my shift boot arrived in the mail yesterday and I got around to installing it. However, I'm not completely happy the way it comes together when it's all mounted back in the car. I'm finding the top where you valcrow meets both ends are still loose and not tight against the actual shifter.
Below you will see how the ebrake looks on this picture. This is kind of how it looks on my shifter.

geese man give people time to reply lol. i'd try to stich the opening smaller. like stich it smaller to take the slack out of it?
yah don't think that'll work though. It needs to open. Maybe what I can try doing is taking the existing valcrow off and stich is farther down.........
