I've been messing around with my camera... its a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T20 8.1 mega pixle camera.... so the adjustments I can make are plentifull... but I've been having a hard time taking low light pics.... I took these this eavening... All the pics are hosted by myspace so the size and quality is severely limited.... I'm looking for a free hosting site that will allow mr to host full 1080i quality pics.

They look OK on the camera... but look too dark on my moniter.... I'm thinking of using photoshop the up the contrast a little..
Most of the pics come out blurry and weird..... Anyone have any tips on setting up the camera to take better pics in low light like this? They would look good if they where just more visible, and I have to take like 7 pics just to get one close to right.
What do you think so far.... I'm getting better but have a ways to go.
a tripod will be your best friend
Ya.... I'm thinking of buying a tripod... the only problem is that sometimes when I take pictures (especially of the car) the camera is about a foot off the ground... so I would need one that would collapse down that low. I'm pretty sure that the blurriness is being caused by movement of the camera during the longer shutter time.
I haven't delved very far into the settings because I don't understand what they mean... hopefully I can find something on the net that will tell me how to make use of the advanced settings. I love the way a black car looks at night, but it's really hard to take a picture like that.
Looks good I like the LS wheels on the fire too! I would suggest loosing the headlight covers and drop it! You're off to a good start though.
You can get little tiny tripods for cheap cheap..they are meant to fit in your pocket...

I'm planning on lowering but it's a ways down on a list of more important things. As for the covers... I just recently got them so they're staying on for awhile..... I got tired of my evil eye headlight vinyl LOL. Although the vinyl is still their for when I have to take to covers off. When more money can be put into cosmetics.... I'll slap an Evil eye equipped CF hood on it. The funny thing about the covers is that people have mistaken my car for a Trans Am from a distance LOL.... but that's the look I was going for.
I'll check into some different tripods and when I get some decent shots.... I'll post them up.
