Carbon Fiber...Why Not?
Monday, May 19, 2008 2:07 PM
I was able to swing a deal on a New CF-Tec hood, so I couldent resist.

And about the license plate, I designed it on there with some foam attached to the back of the license plate, so I can remove it for shows/taking pics and it wont scratch the paint, nor do I have to drill holes. I just didnt feel like dealing with taking it off today, lol.

Comments are appretiated.

I got the car with this interior, it was a score. But the passenger seat needs some restitching done.

Heres a pic from a previous post, once I get this thing fully detailed, i'll post more pics of the interior.....not that theres much to look at other then the seats, lol.

I'm a fan, I think you need to work on the fitment of the hood a bit though, nice none the less.

Yeah, its off about 2 cm's to much on the drivers side, we just threw it on at CF-Tec. Its pretty quality stuff, I gotta say.

Z24 Badge will be removed, moldings wont be, one of the rear quarters was repainted, so I dont want it to look gross, however the moldings have saved me from alot of potential door dings.

Personally I think it would look a million times better with just the plain black hood rather than a carbon fiber one. But thats just my opinion. I hate carbon fiber anything. Unless its the whole car.

That's realistic with a cavalier...

I could actually see the "z24" badge's being left on there if you get some sort of big brake kit with touch of red to it, maybe red powder coted callipers. Car looks DAMN sexy! Two thumbs up!!

NICE cav, i got an 04 black 2dr and it just so happens i just picked up a set of older z24 rims and was wondering what they would look like kinda black.....then i see this! (of course cuz those are factory rims right?) How did you get it that color? The hood is a little off but looks good!
