Great start would be getting a set of Z24 Bumpers

Not a bad suggestion, but I would fix the passenger side rocker panel and rear quarter before doing anything else. It looks like there is a good chunk of rust on it. You'll be much happier down the road if you address that stuff first.

Good pick on doing the suspension right without trying to half-ass it.

Nice suspension! Where exactly in West Michigan are you?

I'm in Kalamazoo.

Thanks guys.. its really hard to build a car when you've got no money.. I just graduated from high school in '07 and I'm going to UTI in September... so I'm really short on cash..
I'm from Hamilton, MI... not too far away from Kalamazoo

first you should look into fixing that rust. then some z bumpers and rims would be inexpensive mods that would really make your car look 100x better. and like az24 said above, its good to see lowering done right the first time!

keep it up and keep us updated

No need to make fun of someone who just got out of HS and has no $. But, honestly I think the best advice would be to use it as a daily driver and not dump any $ into it. If the car was in good condition and had low miles than maybe, but why not save your $ for nicer car or different project. Just my 2 cents, but it'll blow your mind what some people on this site have done to turn around cars, they should be on overhaulin!
