So I Have My HIDs in Now, Both Low-beams and Fogs. The Low beams are 8000k Ebay $67.50 HIDs, which I just ordered projectors that Use an H1 Bulbs So I ordered Some H1 8000k HID Bulbs. (Anyone need 99% new 9006 Style 8000k HID bulbs?!?)
The Fogs have my OEM Mazda RX8 HID balasts and a set of 8000k 881 HID Bulbs.

Projectors and New H1 Bulbs should be here this week, Pics as soon as there all installed!
Heres some I took wile visiting the Fiance down in Savannah last night:






Also installed LED's In the Frunt running Lights, 3rd brakelight, Trunk Light,Glovebox light, Dome Light and with a little bit of sauldering in the map lights.

Now that is the best set(headlights and fogs) of HID's ive seen on a cav!! Looks freakin sweet man.. I have 6k in my headlights, love em.

Drove down there in a thunderstorm All good , All the wiring is very well sealed up, and I sealed the RX8 ballasts myself. But ill let ya know if anything changes.

Projectors will be here this week, But actually I have had yet to have a single person flash me for being too bright. COuld have alot to do with my air though, i ride a little lower in the front then the back.

Those do look fantastic. I'm very interested to see how well the HID conversion will fare against the after market, 1 piece projectors. I was planning on doing the same thing, but after melting my old 2 piece projectors with Euro Lite bulbs, I've been too wary..

HIDs run at only 35w, Not promising, but they shouldn't Burn them, not to mention the bulb socket-cup is aluminum.

If I had a retail account on here I would setup a GP for them because I can get them a little cheaper in bulk.

Looks good... personally I would have went with a lower K like 5000-6000 range.... for more usable light.... but I applaud you for having enough common sense to actually use proper projectors..... I cringe every time I see a 8000K kit in a reflector housing

Projectors And H1 HID bulbs are in, So i installed them in my non-Droving car(tranny comes out tomorrow if i can tow it to the shop.0

One of the LED markers on the drivers side dosent work, no biggie Im just going to disconnect the one on the pass side to match.
May be less Than lazy and start Powdercoating a few random Brackets and whatnot from the engine bay to match the IDI I just did while its not running. Hell ma even do the Cam Tower covers!
My LED Turn signal Bulbs came in today and rather than being WHITE thy are BLUE, thats a NONO so I emaile the seller to get while ones, Till then ill rock the ghey OEM Amber.

damnit man. i love your pix. and your car. im kinda partial to the headlights . i do hate your for having clear reflectors in the headlights!! mine came with the damn amber reflectors. i also have that same problem with the leds too. i just dont use them. everything looks good man.

Which buyer did you get your 1 piece head lamps from? I'd prefer to get a hold of a set with the amber reflectors, rather than the clear reflectors.
