Its back up and running again. Still need to re-tune it for the cam and everything but its running good & strong. Should have it tuned over the next few days so I can really drive it around.
This is how it sounds with the JBP Turbo cam in it. (2.5" exhaust, Magnaflow high flow cat, and a Vibrant 12" resonator, no muffler). See registry for the rest of the engine mods...

that is one of if not the MOST wicked sounding 2200/ohv (please excuse my ignorance) ive ever heard.
Thanks for the compliments
The camera doesn't do it justice, especially to the engine bay, it highlights the OHV's known tappy sounds, and it is making more noise now with the aggressive cam and the v-8 spring swapped lifters, but its all good :-)
Over all I am extremely pleased.
So this means no eco swap?
I may just buy a DD with an ECO, if I can find one for a good deal... I donno If I can get rid of this engine now... Still undecided what I'm going to do but Im way to happy with it right now to make any decisions as far as pulling it back out. We'll see...
Sounds good. Question the time selip in your registery is that before turbo?

in one of your vids, thats exactly how i want my BOV to sound but i cant get it to do that, i have the HKS bov with the screw on the back of it, and i got it just cause i like how it sounds on supras just like it does on your car.

Carbon Cavi... It may be awhile, I do want to run it but I know the engine is capable of faster times than the car (once it has
suspension mainly) When I shift, it looses a lot of momentum. I will probably be more motivated to install a kill switch once I upgrade that. I donno.
Matt Gorman... No I will not be making it out to this year's bash. Its a 20 hour trip and I'm apprehensive about driving the Kav that far
Hopefully next year though, we'll see.
jon turbo grand am... Its possible that yours sounds different since you have a different model BOV than I do. Mine is the one without the screw in the back, it is the non-adjustable SSQV.
