hope you cleaned and prepped it at least lol. looks better tho
i like it! made that engine bay look a TON better. now you just need to spray the idi cover and clean up the upper aluminum parts and it should be pretty well golden.
was contemplating the same thing for my car recently, just unsure on if it would give the 'oh he was to lazy to paint the engine bay with the right color' look at a car show
Riddle me this... riddle me that...

I will be pulling the engine this summer sometime. I gotta do a complete reseal on it, so I will paint the motor when its out. I changed the IDI cover to a black one, its in the finished pics, but my hands were filthy, so it got all dirty, plus its been sitting around for about 2 years collecting dust! lol
I will clean it up once Iam done with the tranny today.
Lookin good.. I just got done painting my engine bay myself with a gun.. I got tired of the 10 year old stock gm white, went with Arctic white

Washing your car is Over Rated Dave
Was looking good until you painted the overflow bottle and the tranny black.

Well I got the car flatbedded to my work this morning and got to work replacing the tranny. I set a personal record, 2.5 hours to replace it, and that included replacing both ball joints. (I love warranty
)
So I didnt really take pics as I went along, but I got a couple...
Engine being supported with tranny out.
All back together and done.
Back at home next to Marlenes car. Yes it is VERY dusty in our garage...
All in all, the car drives very well. The new tranny feels much better than the other one.
That engine bay looks great. Just clean up that engine a tad and it will look awesome

Only took Darren a couple days though Kevin!
Yay! It's already fixed. Props.
Wow you actually supported the engine while taking the tranny out. Never done that, or seen it done before.

Its kinda funny you say that. I hooked it up, and when we were taking the tranny out, we needed to lower it a little, we loosened the support off and it went down MAYBE 1/4 inch. My mounts are so solid they support the engine no problem!
