Good for a laugh...

Cosmo Racing is who I bought my first intake though...they asked to see a picture of my install for troubleshooting purposes so I obliged. They never said they were going to post it!

I don't know if I should be mad, laughing, or flattered at this. My car is after all stock and currently doesn't even have that intake on it. I bought a used K&N Typhoon to replace this one because the bung for the air temp sensor was cracked and split in 2 directions. So much so that the sensor fell out when touched. When I inquired about how to go about fixing the cracking rubber they told me to put SUPER GLUE on it!

I have not clue one, why. But I am corresponding with Cosmo. I'm hoping for replacement parts to fix the old intake, at least it wouldn't be a paperweight then. And I don't mind that they used the image, but I do want recognition for it. We'll see how it turns out.

They both look like 2.4 intakes to me..but any way..You should tell them to pay for your engine cleaning bill and call it even..lol..

i fail to see the problem
they asked for a pic, you sent it to them, at that point you pretty much gave them the right to use it

They asked for a pic to help with troubleshooting. The intake was not mating up to the elbow and they couldn't figure out why. When I did finally get the two together, there was only about 3/8" of tube inside of the rubber. They never told me they were going to post it. But really the more I think about it the less annoyed I am and the more flattered I am that they'd use the pic. Though I would prefer to give them a high res pic if they're going to have it posted on the site.

Looks like its showing how the intake should look installed....... I would think that fits under "troubleshooting"......

Customer "how does this intake fit?"

Cosmo Racing "it should just like it does in this pic."

it does look just like a LD9 AEM intake.....

LOL Engine cleaning xD My cavy only had about 8400 miles on it when that was taken. I'm sitting at just over 16k now. The picture really sucks and my intention was to send low quality so they wouldn't bother using it....but apparently there's a lack for installed pictures or something.
