I first saw this Sunfire cruising through Sandwich on Route 34 this past Friday night as I was walking into my favorite restaurant for dinner. I saw just enough of it to make me cringe. Needless to say when I saw it parked in the movie theater parking lot this morning I had to drive by and get a closer look...
When I stopped to take these pictures, I swear I actually heard my own Sunfire giggling
! The front bumper is just plain hideous, it doesn't fit at all and is obviously unpainted. It appears to be lowered (I'm going to guess cut springs!). It's hard to tell in the pictures but the exhaust is hanging down
really low. And of course, the giant unpainted wing. There's also a ton of random @!#$ stacked on the front passenger seat and in the rear seat area. It appears to be a girl's car because there was some random flower lei thing hanging from the rear view mirror. The absolute worst part is that it has an Illinois temporary license plate which means I will probably be seeing a lot more of it this summer
. And people wonder why we get laughed at for driving Js...
On a side note, here's a quick, crappy picture of the Sedan. It's really dirty and it's driving me absolutely nuts, but everytime I go to detail it it rains
. Coming soon are painted door handles and welded evil eyes.
Did you custom make your evil eyes, or buy them?
ooops maybe i should read.....

I'm guessing he's referring to my comment about getting evil eyes soon. If so, they will be welded onto the stock hood by the body shop...

haha I was actually going to say the same thing...
I need to read too...
is that front just warped as hell or what? it sticks out at the bottom waaay too much.
maybe you can talk to this girl and give her a few tips
are you making your evil eyes? Or are you having the body make them and weld them?
they put mounting plates under the wing legs to keep the wing straight cuz the trunk curves down, so without the plates the wing would sit angled and look retarded........wait......

I am pretty sure the front is warped as hell and that it is also one of those front bumpers that just does not fit well to begin with. It was still sitting at the theater last night so I am thinking it must have died there or something. I am really curious to see who the owner is. Time for some stalking
!

I would totally do that too!

The body shop will be making them and welding them to the hood.

An absolutely horrible start if you ask me. I'm going to get a '95-'99 Sunfire GT front bumper from the junkyard and put it on there so I don't have to look at that ugly ass front bumper all summer long
.

Yeah, if it weren't for the mounting plates it would look
really bad!

I'm sorry, but I just had to share my sadness and disappointment with others who I knew would share my thoughts and feelings
.
Sandwich! I do some advertising for that area & giggle inside every time I see that town name. Love it! (the town name, not the car)
Ouch! I have seen that one on Car Domain before. It's pretty bad too
. Why do people insist on ruining J-Bodies like that
?
You should have left them a rice ticket.
