Well I talked to a friend who owns a body shop and I pay for supplies and he'll do the work for free so I think my total came out to 87.93 or something around there. Plus he's laying 2 coats of clear mainly cause I want these bad boys dark but still visible.
Don't get me started on my transmission, the slave cyclinder cracks and then my clutch decides to go out the door with it.

wow, thanks for all the great comments guys!!!! ive really worked hard on my engine bay, its the one part on my car i go all out show and bling on, lol... because you cannot see it without the hood up.
and since nobody mentioned my aem intake, its now powdercoated gloss black, getting rid of the blue in there did so much for the look i still cannot believe it. also painted the cam towers/timing chain housing gloss black, i think it turned out damn nice for a spray bomb job AND doing it right inside the car. had to take everything off the top of the engine and tape/mask off a ton, but it was damn well worth it. the stock aluminum was just looking a tad old so it had to go.
john-i will be spraying this year you can count on it, unfortunately before i do i need to knock down my timing quite a bit, i bumped it from 25 degrees advanced (which was 1 degree higher then stock im told, which is where ron put it) to 28 degrees advanced but for some reason my logs say its commanding 34.5 degrees, which is really weird. no KR though so thats good.

and yes... your bay is going to be TITS this year, cant wait to see the final product. im hoping to make it to the bash, will be riding with wade if i do though. so we can finally get to meet one another. but if you wanna see my car, well.. your just gonna have to make the long journey over to corn land and see her.
shawn- hahaha, yes he's getting older but doesnt really look it. this meet was the last time for a very long time that we'll get to hang out as he is headed to wyoming for wyotec this week. good luck out there paul, i know myself and more than a few others are routing for you to do well, i know you will. you have some of the best engine skills and mechanic talent of anybody i know and you are only a mere 18 years old. really looking forward to seeing what you can accomplish with some good schooling under your belt.
curt- thank you for the compliment on my engine man, it means a lot coming from you. and i cannot thank you enough for helping me with HP tuners. i was really weary of taking such a task on, believe me. thanks for always being there. i hope you can make it over soon, we really need to hang out again. plus i owe you a certain extremely rare graphite interior piece.
98z24ragtop- my idi cover was done by RK Sport, you send them your stocker and they make it bling big time, very expensive though but its damn worth it. im currently having my OTHER polished rk sport idi cover done in black powdercoating with polished ribs/lettering. i have not yet decided if i wanted to run it or the one i currently have, just have to wait in see i guess. i may do a poll on here to see whats liked best to do the final decision.
Salvatiosix- god i wish we didnt get snow here, unfortunately we do. my car doesnt see it though, stays locked away hibernating during the winter months. fortunately one of the previous owners of my car took extremely good care of it, thats a lot of the reason why its in as good of condition it is for being 10 years old now. ive done quite a bit of cleaning to it though to get it where it is today. the rain this weekend didnt help though
