clean out your center console!

FYI, if you remove that metal brace behind the deck along with the little bit of plastic there, you gain tons of room for wires as well as being able to flush mount the deck for a much cleaner look.

Haha I put the console tray back in after that so nobody can tell how dirty it is down there. And I was thinking about flush-mounting, but I'm still up in the air about that.

The only bad thing about this deck is most of the really cool options (bluetooth phone conn. smart EQ adjust [IMPRINT system], etc.) are add-ons that cost dollars

that deck is pretty nice, the only thing i dont like about it is the knob doesnt spin, it does like 1/4 turn and springs back.

but hey, you gotta use it not me, and if you like it who the hell cares what i think?

Actually the knob is dual function. There's a spring in it, when you press is in, it does 1/4 turn L/R to switch songs or jump in a library. In the resting position, it rotates completely as a volume/setting adjuster.

Buttons are illuminated either blue or red.

Yeah i wasn't sure about the big-ass knob at first, but once I realized what all it could do, I saw it's true inner beauty.... or something.

only thing i never liked about those is no cd player. i mean in the age of people living on their mp3 player its no biggie, but im still a big cd user. alpine makes hot stuff, and it looks hot none the less though.

looks sick man, only thing i would have done would be drill a nice round hole instead of a random looking hole for the ipod cord,
