I love both cars, and yes your paint looks amazing. That's the number one thing I appreciate on a car.
If I was Darren I'd be pissed, I won't lie. Props to him. I honestly don't know how I feel beyond that though, just seems unoriginal to me at this point despite the fact the car is amazing.

Why would you want your car to look identical to someone elses? It looks great, SO i guess PROPS to Darren for having great taste. Props to the painter who painted the car. Props to you for having $$ to use someone elses imagination.

darren has that... other rear and no spoiler. OP has 03+ rear LS sport bumper with Z24 spoiler
besides, with as many aftermarket parts we have, its no wonder duplicates happen.

I have to agree.... It looks beautiful, but it really is pretty unoriginal. Yes there are some differences but still..
my first choice was drift kit, and there was no more urethane made for it. I don't have much choice.. big mouth was the best looking for urethane kit.. (in my opinion). And again you guys do not know me well.. so I dont get respected here... I ll have to deal with it I guess..
I don't understand how it could be unoriginal when I wasn't planning to get a cavalier. Just because Darren existed I bought it. He hooked me up with Dan Aversa who used to own my cavalier. I was being ripped off (kinda of) I had to pull the motor out and all that bs for two years and half. And again Darren has hooked me up with RSX seats, big mouth kit and he wanted me to have his C5s before anyone just because he thinks I deserve it more. There's lots of things you guys do not know about us.
its not like we have much choice to make our cars look different if we were talking about quality body kit. I was eager to get urethane kit...and I dont like most of em... this is never gonna end.. again candy apple red was always my colour.. Darren knows that..... its hard when you guys do not know me that well.. I ll have to respect your judgements of me... only people who knows me well knows the truth story.... i havent really said much here... I guess I ll let Darren explain the rest if he wants to...

front and side were the best I could find in urethane... I am not gonna change this just bec of you guys... I am proud of what I have done on the car... I built it from stratch.....

i've been thinking the same thing ever since i saw your pile of parts when you started your build, but i bit my tongue until i saw finished pics.
both cars are very hot, i'll definitely give you that. but why the hell would you want your car to look almost exactly like phewes? i just dont get it. i love his car, but there's no way i'd ever steal his ideas and his look. just very unoriginal, like others have said.
its a shame, cuz now his car looks dated and worn when compared to yours, even though his is one of the sexiest on this site.

just because my car is there.. it seems to be more attracted does not mean his car is worn out.. his car looks better in person big time... he just have not waxed his car in months... seems like my xti has caught deep pics...
I have always respect him and still does.. we both are close friends... I just dont like how you guys have to say about his car..

what I am trying to say here is...
we have proven how hot jbody cars can be... not much people that would invest big $$$.. I just did it.... I am proud to be one of Jbody members. We r supposed to support eachothers.. i dont see that much here.. I think I have learned more about this community each time im here... I realized more now. SOME of you... just "SOME" of you are more about "COPYRIGHT". Not about how I built it, how I shaved handles, how I shaved keys, how I shaved gas door etc..... 10 years of work will not be respected here too... its not that easy to have a different car when we are talking about urethane kit..
I have seen 10 cars in drift kit.. they all look the same even in silver.. does not make em look unoriginal.
Darren was the one who waited for me to post some pics of our cars together.. so I did it tonight.. now I have to deal with this..
this just sucks man...

Nobody has said anything negative about your car or Phewes car here....other then the fact that yours looks Unoriginal (especially parked right next to his), do you honestly think people would have said so if they didnt think so? And just so ya know, Money Does not = Respect.
