ok guys and gals. its been a lil while since my last update. i had a month off of shows so i decided to tackle some projects all at once. took me quite some time to think things out seeing how i dont usually do that lol. but as of right now,there are NO installed pics. the pics of the parts painted are from tonight. i still have a few more things to build and install but i will take more pics as i go. i just thought i would post progress pics now since its killing me hiding it lol.
project list goes as follows:
1.move air ride setup to back seat area
2.re route lines and re mount compressors
3.display hoses alot cleaner
4.dynamat trunk
5.build custom fiberglass trunk enclosure for new 08 L7 15's
6.complete 00+ door panels
7.shave inside handle (believe im the first to do this. i could be wrong)
8.mount and mold tweeters and mold seems
9.make pod for 5.25 kicker in doors
10. build cover for air tank and compressors (building this weekend)
11.wire in new leds (have yet to install)
so all of the glassing was done by myself. i had lots of help from my friend with the box,sanding, etc. purchased 5 gallons of resin and 10 yards of mat from us composites. went through countless amounts of sand paper,filler,duraglas etc. all in all i spent almost 200 bucks in materials excluding the resin and mat. some of you might not like the size of the subs, or some other things.i love it all and its the biggest project ive been involved in to date. i have until tuesday next week to finish since i have a big show next weekend. so tomorrow pieces will be taken to a friends house,wire everything up,and start building the other pieces. as for how im opening the doors with a shaved handle on the inside? well, lets just wait til i get a video of it

yes. its the ugliest box you will ever see RAW. we wound up adding a front piece of mdf afterwords when we re thought the box.
started to fiberglass a front piece.... wound up trashing the idea and building it out of wood and duraglas as seen in the painted pix
i was gonna glass the inserts only
but then had a idea and decided to mold everything
(no i didnt just slap on bondo) its resined,duraglassed, and fleeced.

Did you reinforce the back of the doors at all? We did alot of the same stuff on my door panels and they ended up cracking on the front. Would hate to that happen . Cant wait to see the finish project
thanks fellas!!. yea man i reinforced the backs. with rope,dowls(sp?) and gorilla glue, o yea and resin lol. before i did that. i did have a crack come up because of it being so top heavy. hopefully all the crap on the back will hold up

You've been doing some mad work over the last year or so, I can't wait to see how the car looks after all of this new work is installed. Definitely in my top 3 favorite show cars on this site with Big Poppa and soundsgood. With the level of work and how you're taking it all the way you deserve some recognition.

search for IE tab in the firefox add-ons. install it, then add it to your toolbar and when someone on the internet posts several pics in a forum, just click IE tab and you can view all pics. i really thought firefox 3 would have fixed that issue.

nice door panels mine r alil diff but i also shaved the handles on the inside and hookin up poppers inside...but dont worry im sure alot of ppl have done this before...but i make a fiberglass panels so mine r all smooth with a 6.5 in t.v in the panels i have a few pics of them in my mypscae and crap if u wanna take a look
