looks good but I thought ur suppose to only do one panel at a time. Its not suppost to dry on the car completely, just to a haze then wipe off.
you'll love those tires, had same on my bike- nice and sticky, decent in rain as well
I know.... but it was taking forever to haze... and I just did the whole car at once..... it seemed to work OK.
OH.... and ya... I'm looking forward to getting the tires on.... I figured since the Bridgestone Potenza'a on my car worked so well.... that I would try Bridgestones on my bike.
next time wait for it to haze and do a panel at a time!!! lol, looks good though man. nice job.
That vinyl looks goofy, but I mean its clean...
FOR SALE: (5) '95-'99 Z24 Rims
Which Mequiers did you use? The new stuff comes off much easier.
I never do one panel at a time. I do the whole car and let it bake in the sun. To me comes out better.

Looks good.
As far as the Meguiars not coming off well, you may have used to much. Only a thin layer of wax is left after you buff it off. It doesn't matter how much you put on the car. Just a very thin coat is all you need. If you want more wax, you need to wax multiple times. What kind of wax did you use? Gold class? NXT?
U got that car to run a 14.8 at 98
with pretty much secret cams, intake and exhaust. thats impressive.
It was the wax that comes in the tin.... whatever that is.... it's just that i had yellow spots in all kinds of places I couldn't get to.
If your talking about the eyebrows... ya the vinyl looks kinda odd since they have been on there forever.... they are a little off now... it looked OK when I put them on though.... it probably looked even stranger because they didn't have wax on them. If your talking about the banners or the ones in the side windows.... I'm not sure what you mean... but I have been told the windshield banner looks a little out of place on the car.... wich I agree with... but I don't really care.... I wanted the flag on there.
The car really needs to be lowered.... but there are more imprtant things that need to be done first...
It actually looks better in the pics than in person.... you know how black paint on a 11 year old car can get.
Thanks for the compliments and what not guys.... it seems like the ORG is the only place that appreciates Sunfires LOL...
Oh... MINITRANSAM.... I just realized who you where.... you should know where I got the headlight covers
I remember seeing you screen name over the years.... but couldn't remember anything else about ya..... I'm assuming your not around as much anymore since you got a real Trans Am.... you lucky bastard
....
Just so you know the Mequiars NXT Tech wax is awesome!! It does not eave all the extra left over, regardless of how much you put on.

It was hard to take off because you let your car bake in the sun. Your car is suppose to be cool and in a shaded area.
I have no problems with Meguiars products coming off with little effort.

That is not completely so. I like to put my wax on in the cool area, and then move the car and let it bake in the sun. The new wax by Mequiars does come off much easier.

are those base model springs on there?
holy wheel gap batman!
I've got some z24 springs if you want them.
Nice job. Figured you would've taken off the side door moldings by now though.

It wasn't so much that I put too much on... it was the fact that I couldn't get into some areas to get the wax off that well.. (like around the badges on the sides in the lettering)

I'm Suprised you've never noticed that yet from seeing me post in the mid-west forum.... I don't have any proof of the time atm.... I really want to hit up the strip when the cars ready again... I'll try to hit up rock falls when the tranny, suspension, and mounts get done,
