nope, missed a shift. i know that sounds odd because its an auto.. BUT, i think i eiher have some ghosts yet in the tune or what i REALLY think, hardware issues. as far as i know the tranny fluid has never been flushed nor the filter changed so... i thought i had the shifting issues solved, it was shifting beautifully for WEEKS with the tweaks i did recently but something happened and it would not shift this time, its happend before a few times but i caught it before it got to high in the rpm's, unfortunately this time i must have been sleeping because it touched 7600. i also think the other times had to have injured the bearings because one time is pushing things...

thanks guys, already have a spare motor in the works though. i went out to my dads shop and we got the block all cleaned up and painted. as far as i know all i need to buy are a few gaskets. i should be able to swap my head and cams/towers etc over to the new block. we have to strip down another long block we have sitting around to get a good crank, so hopefully i can get that done today so we can assemble the short block. i would just move on getting my built engine that i was planning on putting in this winter in but i have a lot of events and shows left this year id really like to hit so a stock engine gets put back in.

Ebay .The ones i linked are the ones i bought exactly. there are a few different syles rolling around, some have the stock style hatching around the outside egdes and 2 lines through the center. some are completely clear like mine with zero hatches but they have the two lines. mine have zero hatches and zero lines, completely clear.
Corners I got from Jason at Aplus, they are APC, same as the bumper lights. the corners are a lot harder to find though, but both should be getting pretty hard to get as they were dis-continued quite some time ago.
pics look real good. sucks about the rod but it's good that you've already got another engine being worked on
