Quick question. To open your trunk with the actuator. How does it work with unlocking the trunk, do you have to press the trunk button that unhooks the latch and then press the actuator extender switch that opens the trunk, or turn the key to unlock the latch then use the actuator switch. Just not clear on how it works with the trunk lock.

MDC, When you press the button for "up" it goes to a relay which in turn pops a solenoid to release the trunk lock, if this doesn't happen then power will not go to the actuators....thus preventing any damage to the lid trying to be forced open.

i respect the hell out of the work done, man. one hell of a job. i really like the trunk set-up.
the 'carbon fiber' pieces in the steering wheel need painted a solid color or something, it looks way to cheezy for your interior. are different seats in the mix?? they too look out of place....

EYEOPNR, I used a symetrical slope for left and right of the speedometer. The switches have a cover plate upholstered in tweed matching my seats, just like all my speaker grills, so they are normally covered up.

The amount of time and work that has went into this car is amazing. I would have to disagree with zyaaaa I think the steering wheel goes well with the dash. I know you were selling it at one time are you still. I am not interested just curious.

I love the hard work on the car!!!! I just not feeling it. The dash makes me think of night rider (not in a good way). The work looks like it was done well, but the style is just old looking.
Still major props on hard work done right.

I like where the HVAC controls are. Can you close it and have an arm rest or did you take it off? I am brand new to the forum but the dash would look cleaner if you hid the glove box latch IMO. The dash looks nice, I wouldn't put it in my car(not my style) but it does look nice. I really like the location of the gauges.
