New Updates on the Sedan!

Hey, It's Andy

Just have a few updates on my Sedan. Bought the LS Sport wheels Painted my calipers and drums. Also got my system back into the car, but working on possibly buying a L5 or just another Cerwin. Also Chopped the antenna to 8". And the tires are General Exclaim UHP, Love them. Not sure about lowering it yet, I want to get a Suzuki 650 or 750 next year if I can. If I do go about lowering it I plan on going with Tein Basics. Enough Talk.

Question for ya, I am looking into putting a muffler on it. I want some sound, but nothing ricey or raspy, I am not upgrading the piping or resonator. I was told to get a Flowmaster 40 series, I have heard them on a Turbo 2.2 Eco, and sounded awesome. I am just looking into cleaning the rear end of the car up and replacing the stock with a aftermarket and getting a 3" Tip. Thanks C&C welcome

IMO the best mufflers out there that sounds the best without that bee sound is a muffler brand called Ravin' they are mostly dis continued around here but if your lucky you can find a shop that still has them, the one I am using was meant for a camero, but I had one on my focus and it was the nicest sound ever so I found another and got one for my cav, I will try to get someone to help me do a sound clip so you can hear it, all I have is everything stock until right after the cat and then I upsized the piping to 2.25 and ran straight pipe right to the muffler, and it sounds so nice, its like a deep muscle car sound mixed with a WRX sti sound hard to explain but hopefully I can get a clip very soon

good start.
paint those door handles and lower it, it will look good will a lower stance.

also, a flowmaster will sound ok on a 2200, i just hated mine when i had it on my eco, it sounded very raspy and high pitch.
just save up though and do a cat-back, not just a muffler. trust me i made the same mistake. just my 2cents
In the mean time, get a ebay short ram intake. it will give you some deep sound to enjoy

The antenna I made myself in our metal shop, just took a vice to the sphere on the end and ripped that off then chopped the antenna down to 8" and tapered that so I could fit the sphere onto the end. Turned out nicely, but good luck with radio stations
Megatron- when you get the sound clip, pm me or post it up on here, i would like to hear it.
I do not want to spend much more money on the car really, I am really looking into getting a bike and using this as my car when it rains and snows. And I have done the Modded Air Intake, just need to get some tubing from the box to the Throttle Body. What size should I go about using there 3"?

make sure you keep a resonator!! lol... from what ive experienced, long sections of piping (such as after the, but before the bend at the gas tank) will create a crap load of that raspy ricer sound... i have a 30in resonator and a fart can from hell but i dont have the slightest rasp AT ALL... you get the more deeper tones that way too...

I have no resonator and have absolutely NO raspy sound, mind you I have a 2.4 and after the cat I upsized the piping to 2.25"
