Well, I hate to say it, but I gave in.
I got a great deal from a really good friend, I was going to buy a stock replacement suspension, but I guess I just couldn't pass it up.
I finally lowered the car. I'm only sitting 3.5 inches off the ground now, so I'm still unsure of how good of an idea this was since i really like my front bumper , but I'll go along with it for now
This weekend my car had some much needed maintenance done along with the suspension. We managed to accomplish:
Suspension swap from Omar's car to my car. KYB AGX's & Tein S-Tech springs
Fuel filter
Front brakes
Front rotors - Power Slot ... took off the drilled and slotted I had on
Rear brakes
Painted the rear drums black (should make most of you happy, altho the fronts are still yellow, just a new coat)
Front seats (mine originally)
Stole Omar's air filter
And an attempt at a trunk swap was foiled. Kris was so close, so i do give him credit lol
The only thing left is the control arm bushings, an oil change (tomorrow), and I need to go get an alternator and a serpentine belt this week as well. I need a new hood next, i just haven't gone to get it yet if Higgins still has it.
Oh, and I also got new clear headlight housings and a rear strut bar.

Gilbert's car snagged the SS Hood and got some super sweet looking Orange corners from Omar.

Looks sooo much better!!!!!! You will be fine with that height, just have to adjust how you go in and out of certain places (or types of drive ways)

i know. i know. the bumper may still be finished. depends on if someone local wants to fund the project. looking at $200 to $300 total


i'm looking at getting a 08 Cobalt SS Turbo. the z24 has too much for me to invest into to fix. so it'll prob get traded in.
i still have lots of parts for sale. i'll make a post in the Southeast forum (for those who may be interested).

Looks 100X better....Driving on an angle is your best friend, I would just watch out for the rear section of your side skirts....that is where I primarily scraped when I was lowered.................I like this shot alot.....now send me my headlights.....lol

very nice upgrade. headlights look good, i was thinking bout those but ended up just gettin the kind with all clear no amber and little happier but i love the cleanness of yours. the drop def helped.

^^ Those are the one's i really wanted, i couldn't find them when it came time to order, and i became impatient
