I looked but didnt find anything.. Thats not it 2tonecav, that was just to hold it in place. Somebody made a stb by welding a tube to the strut towers.. Id like to know how they did it exactly..

basically what i think needs done is find some ROLL CAGE/BAR tubing, not exhaust tubing. do what brandon fetter did and weld some flat steel over where your going to be welding on the towers so its nice and sturdy....

then cut bar to length between the towers and burn it in.

roll cage steel isn't anything you are going to find at home depot. I believe its at least a 1/4 inch. I would have to look at the cage I have at my house again.

yeah what does that DOM or whatever 'wall' tubing mean anyways???

DOM = drawn over mandrel = uber-expensive = no welding = stronger = can use thinner wall = lighter

I know you already found the pic you were looking for, but when we welded the tubing into my car, it wasnt to just hold it in place. It was actually welded into the car for a reason and still remains there today.
