I also have a tial 50mm bov and greddy type-s sitting here next to me, along with a bunch of other turbo parts for my friends 3g eclipse haha.
It seems like the natural progression of M45 owners.
I wonder if I will make the switch

Yessir the turbo is from Ed, I talked to him earlier and Ill prolly have to wait a bit longer than friday. Thats fine though I still need to get a wg and a few other little things.
And yea the m45 is old and worn out and started making some crazy noise in the snout area, still boosts fine. Im keeping it to use a few parts from the kit like the map and pcv plate, maybe down the road Ill get it rebuilt and throw it on again with the turbo
ive got get together with you guys geeze , this paint job is taking forever , since somebody is taking a long time to ship out my fenders
Im also looking to get some things painted/repainted soon as well. And Im sure we can set something up to get together sometime.
Ill keep this thread updated as things start to come together. Were prolly also doing my buddies eclipse 3g install sunday so maybe start on my car as well.
BTW, I recomend the type S, people seem not to like the 50mm Tial as much.

I think Im actualy gona get an hks ssqv, I like it and my charge piping already has an hks flange on it.

i would much recommend my tial 50mm over any type s or even the HKS. i love the TIAL!!!
Just a quick update..Just waiting on some gaskets then everything will be going on this weekend. Then I just need to find someone closer to me with hpt for a retune. Pictures/videos will be posted when done.
Some things happened and didnt get the turbo I was supposed to, not yet atleast. Also my tial 38mm wg with small green 7.3 psi spring
Picked up a bulkhead fitting for the oil pan, didnt weld a bung on as Ill be picking up a miller pan this winter. Also got a brake booster line from a 2.3 to make things a little easier
Forgot to add its a turbonetics t3 super 60 .60/.48, was ran but has zero miles on it and couldnt pass up the deal. It will do for now

Update..turbo is on and running great at 7psi. Took a few days working on it few hours at a time, its been raining and realy windy and wasnt inside a garage lol. Ill be sure to post up pictures and maybe a vid or two tomorow!!
Mike, i'm so glad to hear you got it done, you need to find me a donor car so I can either go eco or 2.4 so i can put a blower on my car and make it a fun daily driver lol.
