New and final pics of the year!!
Sunday, September 21, 2008 10:53 AM
Well I am parking the car this afternoon, so I went out this morning and found some cool places for pics! Big changes over the winter if plans go well, new wheels, sportlines/dspecs, and the biggest improvement a new engine. Can't decide between an ecotec or a 3400, I drove a v6 2nd gen for years and I miss having a 6. However the ecos have so much potential, maybe the 3400 does too, ahh I can't decide! Maybe give me some suggestions!!
The eyelids will be removed and done properly if anyone is grossed out by those, and I'd like to get clear corners, just the guy on ebay wants 50 bucks for shipping to canada, yeah right!!! Anyway enjoy the pics, suggestions/concerns all appreciated

Pretty clean. I don't even mind the red calipers, but why people want to make their ugly ass brake drums stand out, I will never understand. I say flat black those drums and the car is nice and clean.

Yes, definitely paint the handles and mirrors to match the rest of the car. Do u have an aftermarket sunroof? if so, how much did it cost , got any leaks?

Thnks and good luck with ur winter project.

Just one quick question for everyone, what do u do in winter? lol do u use another car? metro? bus?

Winters here are not cold so I can use my car all year long lol I cant imagine just using my car half the year.

Thanks for the comments everyone!! Its always great to get opinions on the status of the car. Painted handles and mirrors are for sure on the list, hopefully by early spring! To answer the question about the sunroof, its a factory one, no leaks yet! Had an aftermarket one in my sunbird for about 5 years. The last year I owned the car, it was leaking so bad i had to use a wet/dry vac after every rain storm.!

Yeah it really sucks that winter seems to creep up so fast, and having to bring out the winter beaters. I'm rockin a 95 ford escort with a 1.9 and an automatic, go speed racer!!

Car looks good!

Just a quick question, did you put a third brake light in the back of the car or are you just doing without?

Thanks! No I didn't put in a third brake light. Not the safest idea i'm sure, but the sunfire is only on the road to get to shows, and the occasional sunday cruise. I'd put one in for sure if it was a daily driver but as long as I own it, it won't be!!
