I bet I was alot anger when my brand new car was nice and clean and heading to the body shop because someone pulled on a hit and run on the front bumper when I went to lunch. Didn't even have its first oil change yet.

I bought it basically as is, i took off the decals that were on it as phase one. Phase 2 in the spring stacks up as this:
hood scoops, spoiler off
lowered pro kit, koni yellows
cat back exhaust
cross drilled rotors, painted calipers, drums
Its a work in progress
why couldn't they aim for that spoiler that doesn't even come close to flowing well or looking good on the car instead? or hell... the fake stick on hood scoops even?
im sorry but i guess i can respect the cleanliness. keep that up for sure. birds suck!!!

I feel ur pain on the bird shiat. Happened to me on the weekend on my way to an auto x, flock of birds took off from the power line and I got hit with 3 green bombs! DOH! lol
nothing more angers us than the rice!

For me, Every time I wash my car a bird either poops on it or it rains within the next 24 hours.
UGH! I am so with you on the bird @!#$e thing. I always get an unhealthy smattering of the dirty goo once I put a solid 4 hours of work into my car. Can't wait to see your progress in the fall.

My parents caught a doe with their 08 Civic Ex before even making the first payment. I know how it is. Wasn't even my car and I was pissed off about it xD
And I still say you should mold the scoops, but center them up first and make them functional. Aside from that, I love your car
Looks nice and clean without all the stickers too!
Nothing makes me angrier than stick on hood scoops.

i can see waiting on the spoiler, as it may be a slightly drawn out process to get it back to stock, but the hood scoops you can just rip off and remove the adhesive

Yeah I clay barred and waxed my car last weekend for a meet this weekend and then Monday it rained alll freakin day! Back to the drawing board.

the bird crap looks better than the wing.
I love how I stated the wing was going at the beginning of the thread yet people just keep going on about it. When I re-paint the bottoms of the doors due to the damage from the stupid chrome decals I'm also going to be removing the hood scoops. Easier thing to do about the wing is just to get a new trunk ... the way it was butchered when it was put on may have cause some damage but I'll have to check it out.
The birds seem to have good taste.....spoiler would be fine if you had a bodykit.....BUT the stick on scoops HAVE GOT TO GO!

I KNOW! When I take off the spoiler I'm wondering if i should leave the car spoiler-less, I'm fairly certain that plus a drop would look pretty sexy. Any ideas?
