State Park Photoshoot!
Saturday, October 11, 2008 10:33 AM
Took the cavi down to the state park for some show and shine. I did it around dusk, and I really like the way all the pics came out. I have about 50 pics but these are just the cream of the crop. I am aware of its minor paint flaws and shopping cart dents. Damn people and speed bumps.
Kind of a mean stance

I like taking pictures at this angle.

Hahaha, Sibling rivalry.

Offroading

Spring Head

Bridge Fun, I caused a mini back up, but its cool.

We can take on anything, Im gonna go back, and take another picture of me standing on my trunk. It should look good

Need to photoshop this and darken the sun

Boat Ramp

NO PARKING!!!!!!!! Gosh.

Faceoff, I didnt want to sit around and wait to meet the owner of that beast, haha.

Shadowy trees

I could probably pass as a decent photographer if I had a decent camera in my hands. This was just a little digicam

The road was just a little beaten up, I moved some big pieces out of the way though. and it was on a slight hill, so it looks worse than it was.

You wonder why you have "minor paint flaws", but you back it into brush for a picture, and want to go back and take a picture "standing on the trunk"?

Hmmm

Dude, you need to read up a bit. You cant even see some of the flaws I was talking about besides the bottom of the bumper in these pictures. I hadnt seen them outside of the camera so I didnt know if they would show up or not. The flaws I was talking about were on my rear quarter panels where its dented a little. Those are the only flaws.

You are a dumbass. please leave my thread before you make yourself look worse than you already have.

^^ Did you forget already?? I didnt even have to look for it, its on the same front page as my thread. and I quote "Well, since everybody is doing this now, I might as well try to be cool too!!" I made this cause I take pride in my car, not to fit in.

Lets make a checklist eh?

Ricer wing - check
Tribal vinyl - check
BASE cavi - check
Lambo doors - check
Wishes he was a sunflower - check

Quit trying to make yourself look hard. Cause youre NOT

Not trying to be hard at all, just saying watch who you call dumbass, cause the finger could be pointing right back at you! You need to take what people say with a grain of salt man, don't go to name-calling, just makes you look bad! And yes, my car started out stock, but it was a stock loaded Z24, not "rental fleet base cav". I've put a ton of time into my "wanna be Sunflower", (really original by the way), and if you wanna knock it, that's fine, but if you wanna compare our cars.......... I think it would be my car FTMFW!!

Also, everything in that ricer list you made for my car, well that stuff was all done in that Era if you will. The big wing, yeah it was what was cool at the time, 8 years ago bro! The tribal flames, obviously you haven't ever been to a car show in the last decade to see that tribal graphics were a hit on the scene at one point in time. I think hands down, my car has never been on the same level as yours, even in stock form. As for the lambo doors, I agree that everyone has them except for lambos, but the beauty of it is that the doors still function without having them go up. Not to mention, I don't think they take away from the car at all, go to any show and you will find these or suicide or butterfly doors on some high end cars! And yes, I built my car to take to shows, sue me!

Its not even about your car, I was laughing at how you make fun of me for taking pictures of my car, when you had your stock pictures like 10 threads down from me.

In all honesty, I hate the fact that its a base cavi. I didnt have many options. I needed a new car, I wanted a manual, and it needed to be cheap. I live 3 hours from kansas city and st louis, and 50 miles from the next big city springfield. (I live in missouri). I live in a 12000 population town roughly 4 miles in diameter. I didnt have any options, and this was the best I could find. I couldnt even find a ls or ls sport for sale. They were all bases, and this was the only manual.

So I guess what I am trying to say, is YES I will call anyone a dumbass if they decide to come to their own conclusions without reading what I already stated. But hey, you called all that crap on your car rice yourself, not me. So whos pointing fingers at themselves now?

Re: State Park Photoshoot!

I'm not here to cause trouble and wave around an e-cock, just wanna set the record straight. Yes, my thread underneath yours had ONE picture of it in stock form just to show exactly what I started with, I didn't have a photoshoot with it! Also, you don't remember your ricer wing comment? So yes, you did put that label on it, just to clear things up. And me calling something rice on my own car is nowhere close to busting someone else out with the dumbass comment. Honestly, you have a good starting point with your car, and everyone starts somewhere, but when you take a photoshoot with a base cav, expect to catch some heat for it!

You backed into a brush pile! You obviously don't care about your paint...My paint looks a zillion times worse than yours, and I would never off road my car like you do in your pics..

also, You mentioned STANDING ON YOUR TRUNK, to take a photo. Smart. Won't that cause, oh no, yet another dent?

I'm trying to talk some reason, and maybe even help you out? Did you ever consider that?
