Just had to get the car cleaned up (two years of garage junk were piled up), so I rolled it (ya rolled it) out of the garage, washed it up and took a few pics. It still needs areally good detailing, but Ill hold of on that until its actually running

Love the cav, but is it just me or does the back end seem to resemble a Buick Century?
Beats me. Its just the stock stuff painted to match. So if it looks like a Buick , so be it.

your attention to detail and amazing talent in fabrication rivals that of major professionals.
failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
Hey bud...long time no talk
Car's lookin' good as always. Few things that I'm not totally "diggin" but you know how I feel about your work--top notch all the way. You need to post engine pics for the guys here who haven't seen them. Needless to say, it's downright impressive.
push it back...
j/k, it's a nice car man. i checked out the website too. very very nice!
Love it. great detail, great craftsmanship, great quality of work. I don't love the paint job, but only hate the painted tails lol.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

The post about it looking like a Buick from the back was just my opinion, I wasn't picking on you. This is a beautifully built car and that dashboard ROCKS! Simple and easy to read. Love it!
Pretty much the last thing I did on the car was put the cage in. Nothing has really happened since then
Ijust got busy with ohter stuff around the house, fixing our daily drivers, crewing for a road race team etc.
I finally had some seat brackets water cut so I can finish the carpet and seat install. I think I will be picking them up tomorrow. Then once my wifes vw project car is out of the garage I should be back to getting the cavy "finished up" and ready to start in the spring.
I really want to change the gauges and panel..... but Im not sure if thats going to happen or not. Thought is to get rid of all of the autometer gauges and replace them with this
. Perhaps that and a larger oil pressure gauge.

Awesome as a whole though!!
Engine shots!
I like what I see as of now
.
May have some more progresss here soon. I picked up the seat brackets from the water cutter today.
Need to bend them up at work tomorrow or wed.
