Working on the Smoosh's 03 56K yeah right

Well smoosh Had the tsodo header installed on his car. they failed to put it on well. Lost 4 Nuts and burned 3 gaskets.
My thought on the header. Crap! looks pretty might work . ON 03-05 it hits the subframe on the k-frame. Also becuase of the stock mounts when engine moves the flex nails the k-frame. And slowly destroying the flex. The bolt postions are horible and almost impossible to tighten.
Hell i even got him to work on his own car.

Look he's hard at work.

The Z watching over the patient.

Vibrant exhuast looks nice and pretty. To bad when he pulled in my drive way he was open header. so he wasn't useing it,

Goofy lookin kid aint he.

All done photo shoot

Yeah this shot didn't turn out that good.

The Z's engine bay

The smoosh mobile

When mike stops breaking his car we will try to include him. Oh and smoosh is a club cavy tag.

header looks nice but that's about it. i know 4-2-1's are a pain. won't go back to one. blew thru my gaskets too.
love the black bay. need to paint or coat your strut bar and fuel rail.

Thanks yeah. the tsodo header is Bad. If it don't fit right and you have re assemble it after 2 weeks of being on. And breaking itself it's bad. if you have stock mounts do not put this on you will break it.

headlights take max of 20mins to do and only $2 for the paint and tape, sides look like they line up with the front lip pretty good. is that true in person? its funny also because it looks like our cars will end up twins.

No the headlights are showing ware and the drivers side needs a new bracket. So they need to be replaced. Painting them would not be worth it.
ANd thanks.
T2 the Sedan has a turbo in the closet just don't know if i want to go that way or SC. I love yours.
The srt rims. What kind of pic do you want? I will try to post them when i get home.

I experianced the same stuff when I installed mine, the Bpipe hit the subframe so I took a little notch out of it and had to buy the RK Sport motor mounts and after that I was golden, I had to replace the intermediate gaskets a few times as well, all the better reason to throw on a turbo manifold hehe

ya we did bent it back some so the contact isnt as much.... sometimes i still can hear a very faint ticking of it hitting.... but once i have money for the mounts that should be gone!

same stuff happened to me its a nice header dont get me wrong i loved the design and all but its just crap.

The bolts are worthless and gaskette is trash and we had to pound the hell outta the fire wall to get it to fit. it was amazing after

I had it on, i drove to ocala to get my GF at the time and it was so quite even with the fart can in cuz it still needed to be broke in.

I truly did love it then it started to take a huge @!#$ on me, nuts started to fall off and i ran around with open DP for about 2 months. Then after i got it fixed i get a ticket for my exhust being too loud!

I must be one of the lucky ones. I've never had a problem with my TSUDO header it wnet in just fine. Adn all the bolts lined up just fine. Teh gaskets they sent seemed paper thin so I bought OEM ones. The flex pipe is garbage mine went out within having it on there for a week so I had a new one put on.

I will say mounts are a must with this header. You will smack the firewall and the subframe.

agree.. all it needs its a new type of flex pipe.. They pipe they send you it started to leak from the flex join and the bolts always vibrated loose if they fixed that issue its a nice header
