This project started about 2 or 3 months ago. I had a vision, my dad and I have been working on it. Finally finished up the box yesterday and just installed it today! Enjoy the pics.
In its first stage, putting the amps and cap in the spare wheel well.
We made a new floorboard and put in some plexi too. This is the floorboard finished and the trunk liner back in also.
Made the box to custom fit the shape of the trunk and the box is angled on the backside to the angle of the back seat. I also wanted to be able to put my cryo2 bottle in the box, so I would still have space in my trunk. So thats what the giant sleeve is on the side.
And the finished product

Looks good. Only thing I have to point out is the wiring under the plexi glass it looks better then most setups I see but there is still some more you can do to make the wires look like a cleaner install. But other then that nice clean install

like the setup hate the carpet used. also. i agree about the wiring. nonetheless i would hump your car.
its go potential but it looks kinda cheap and unfinished IMHO
edges look unfinished, that particular carpet does look kinda off, i dunno why. and the wires under the plexi should not be showing. especially so scattered looking. Just my input on the things I think need a little finishing up. Other than that, goot concept. I am also not feeling that under the plexi you have the large Kicker amp centered, and the Orion amp off to the side with the cap beside it. just doesn't quite look complete.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Same thoughts here...looks rushed and thrown together.
out to at least take the material you used on the box and recover your trunk liner, at least that way it will all look more like one piece versus the stock pieces and your added pieces.
how is the bottle held in?
you should have mounted the plexi from the underside so you dont see the edges. just the glass. and then build a piece where the sub fitst that goes across the whole trunk so it looks built in versus just a box sitting in your trunk.
its not bad, better then some on here but could use a little bit more effort to give it a finished look.

i have to agree with some of the comments. overall it looks ok but some tweeking could make it look really nice. not feeling the wires under the glass, the amp and cap under there. i think it would be better to center the amp in the glass and hide the cap. also why isnt the sub centered over the glass?
I like it but my concern is that your amps are gonna overheat under that plexi glass did you build in any fans to help with air flow?
not bad, but it does look unfinished.
needs some of the details taken care of and it will look sick.
I have a solo in my s-10, and love it.
