Wanted to see some pics of slicks and drag radials mounted on some Jbodies. Burn outs are cool, but mainly wanted to see what sizes you are running and the fit in the wheel well.
Please include size of tire and wheel if possible.
i wish i could be cool and have fliks.
Qwik, I love it! You can hardly tell they are DRs at all. Almost a sleeper except for the hood. lol

I was slightly attempting the sleeper approach. I wanted my DRs to be the same size as my normal tires. Gotta look good while going fast. hehe. No point in changing up the size just for the track. I rock these on the streets constantly..
Ive put a stock hood on for a few days before.. It looks BLAHHHH.

whenever i get the beast running.. lookin like early spring next year it'll be ready.
The picture is not the best but you'll get the idea, it was taken a couple of weeks ago by a friend with his cameraphone. Pictures are the last thing on my mind when I'm at the track so I don't really have any good ones. Well anyways mine are bigger than most because I need 16" wheels to clear my big brakes.

PJ... on a side note... did you not in-fact drive EVERYWHERE with those BFG's? the bash... the shootout.. all over the street and the track?

22x10x13 hoosier slicks on 13x7-2 inch backspace wheels, not really a sleeper though

yea the super long distance rides I switched em out for a pair of beat up azenis. but mostly on the street I drove with them all the time (never know when you'll need the extra traction)
plus I was lazy and was racing so often I figured leaving them on the car would be easier. rain + drag radials SUCKS though.. they don't channel water very well.. as if it wasn't already obvious.
i didn't drive on them to WI or home from WI, but I did drive on them back home from OH. the azenis were so bad (they looked like slicks themselves) i figured the BFGs would be better if we hit any rain.
Not exactly a j-body, but same thing really:

All stock...........lol.
here are mine, BFG DR's on PT cruiser steelies...
13.22 @ 105.2
My slicks are better for auto-x, I was a dummy when I bought them cuz I wanted drag radials and got these instead, still way better than street tires though..
