I finally got my hands on something that I’ve wanted for a long time.



I recently sold the IF front and am planning on picking up a TRD/GMX kit from Gravana sometime in the coming months. I’d prefer to find one for sale locally, that way I could get around the almost $350 in shipping charges. I’m in no hurry to get this project done however.

My stock wing left all sorts of scratches on the trunklid, so I’ll probably end up having to repaint it when I get my kit. I have a feeling that I'll be changing rear bumpers some time in the near future, because I'm not completely sold on how the 03 rear looks with the wing.

fugly, trd or not that wing is huge and hideous IMO

I think you need to shave the antenea, it looks out of place with the wing coming over so far

did you swap your tails at the same time, I see both sets of Toyota tails in the pick, which ones are you keeping on there?

I agree about the antenna. I'd love to shave it, but it's not real high on my priority list. and neon rears ftw

I've been using those 96-99 toyos for about 3 years now. They were originally on my 97 cav. I picked up the 00 Toyos just for @!#$s and giggles to see if I'd like how they would look with the wing. I'm planning on keeping both sets and I'll decide which set to keep once I'm done with the whole kit.

party in the rear. lol no seriously wing is huge with the 03-04 rear. looks a little outta place id like to see this when you get the kit should be a nice balance to things. good start like to see how this turns out down the road.

sweet. I dont think the Cavy's rear doesn't present itself for that kind of spoiler though. looks like an STI wing...

so how much different is the bottom piece that bolts to the trunk lid then the actual 95-99z/00-02 base spoiler?

it looks good, but i would go with the 99 tails

but if you dont mind me asking where did you end up finding the spoiler?

Well I personally like it. Don't take the hate to heart; you're always gonna have people who see a big-ish wing and are brainwashed to think a big spoiler = bad. If nothing else, I like it for the novelty. You don't see that one everyday, and I call dibs on the 03 ls sport rear when you upgrade
