Hi everyone, sorry my cam sucks, so I appologise for the poor quality of the pics, and I didn't have my cam with me at all times during the prep and painting of the interior.
As the camera doesn't show this detail, the dash is Chrysler PX8 black, so are the pilars, but the center vent in the dash is black with a whole lot of blue fleck in it so the amount of blue in it changes as the lighting changes. I've been working on this for quite some time now, alot of work has gone into it and a whole lot of learning along the way.
Let me know what you think
Anyone wanting info on products / techniques that I have found to work please feel free to ask.
Take care
Jimmy

Looking good to me! Any plans to finish the bottom of the dash? can't wait to see some digi pics!
the pics do suck like you said but from what I can see it looks pretty damn good!
rattle can-gay
gravity feed professional gun with automotive paint-awesome
which did you use?
You look so much cuter with something in your mouth.
I used HVLP spray guns, a product call slick sand primer, its a sprayable resin, hides the texture of the dash very very well, but doesn't work with gravity fed guns, too thick and clogs alot, also had to change the tip on the gun to a bigger size as you would use for regular primer.
I have started the work on the bottom of the dash now the car is put to bed for the winter, and just picked up a new cam today! So next weekend when I go to visit the car I will get some pics.
Ok I keep forgetting to bring my camera everytime I go out to see the car, but I have taken the pics now but can't load the pics from home cos I am stuck using dial up, but when I bring the computer into town next I will post them... promise
