Some more cf goodness
Monday, November 24, 2008 7:05 PM
Well here is a new update, about two and a half weeks ago I sent some more stuff to CF Tec

cf thresholds
cf steering colum cover
cf lower dash side pieces
the steering colum cover is just sitting on there not fully together yet

Here is a pic of the interior to show that I got rid of the green and painted all the green stuff black. Also in the passinger seat that is my cf splitter

It is only sparay paint until it gets warmer then I will be sanding everything down and painting it with automotive paint in a paint gun. I just wanted to see how the all black and carbon fiber would look, and to me it looks great
Keep in mind the interior is taken a part and dusty/dirty plus car inside garage = crappy pics. In person this stuff looks sweet

My favorite piece that I got back from CF Tec

Since I am not going for weight reduction and I still enter stereo comps it is my stock metal trunk wrapped in cf. Plus the guy I at cf tec said it will fit better. In these pics though the trunk is not shut

looks good, trunk looks really nice

the carpet, floor mats and seats kill it for me. once you touch on those it'll look a lot nicer.

your interior must be really light by now

looks cool ... and i like the cf trunk idea.. if your not going for weight reduction, thats the way to go to have great fitment.

and if this car was a vert, it would make taking interior pics so much easier haha

bc the rksport ones suck. had em and got rid of em. they wouldn't match anything else if you got anything else carbon fibered. plus you have to either glue or tape down the rksport ones and his are on there w/out an edge to accidentally snag when getting in or out.

Thanks everybody

DaFlyinSkwir(LS61) /PJ/ OEM+: The floor mats I use so I dont get the carpet dirty I take them out at shows(the carpet is in great shape just has not been cleaned since my last show), but I am hoping to get Momo floor mats. As for the seats, I got rid of the racing seats because they were a pain in the ass literally. So I bought the stock ones and they will be getting covered in leather

cOrpsemangler: I'm still not finished with the cf lol. I know some people wont like it. Since it is intented for weight reduction, but a lot of people are starting to use it on show cars which that is what my car is, but I also love the look of cf

Carbon Cavi: I'm having problems with the latch now, and me and my gf are expecting our baby in the next week so when I get it fixed I will post some pics

z yaaaa: I knew you would love it, and as for the rksport ones in the long run it was cheaper to do it this way

I like all the CF but damn your interior mats and seats are killing it the overall look.. Get some racing seats, throw the floor mats away, clean the carpet and clean up some wiring and it'll look way better.
